Prayer of the Day:

“Father, thank You that You have given me everything I need to fulfill my purpose just as You did for Jeremiah. Thank You that I am enough because You made me just as I am, and I have Your approval. I declare that I will not be afraid if others don’t approve me or even oppose me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. Father, here I am on my knees before you in this new dawn to offer you all that I have in my mind and in my soul.

Blessed and grateful for this new dawn, for you have gifted me with a new day where I rise with vigor and the strength needed to keep fighting. I know that only you are worthy of all honors, only in you is complete happiness found, only by your side can I attain the most sublime joy. Today, I proclaim you as my shepherd, and I know that with you, I lack nothing; you are my staff and my solace. Only in you do I find refuge for my soul. Today, I declare you as the beacon that shows me the path I must tread; you are my light, the reason of my heart, and nothing can separate me from your blessing.

As this day begins, I pray that you protect all those who dedicate their lives to serving the most needy. Thank you for placing kind-hearted individuals in the world who contribute to making it a better place. Protect those afflicted by illness, endow them with strength to continue their daily struggles. But above all, bless them with your celestial grace so that you may reward them in the afterlife, and let nothing be lacking in their earthly life. I ask this because sometimes I am not attentive to your voice, as I have fallen asleep in an empty life and adopted meaningless attitudes.

Grant me the wisdom to hear your words of life, for I know that being close to you, my life makes complete sense. Infinite thanks for giving meaning to my being; in you, I find that source that gives life, and in your light, I can walk steadfastly. God of heaven, thank you for your generosity; amidst falls, I know you walk by my side to lift me up. I know you stand beside me to help me continue facing life with courage and diligence. Help me in all the obligations and responsibilities I have at home. Let me seize every situation to grow, and do not allow discouragement to take away my desire to keep fighting and giving my best. Make me a free, confident person, full of faith, who appreciates everything. I surrender to your divine will because you do not reject me for my mistakes. You do not push me away, even though I have not lived according to your will.

Thank you because I know with your power and help, you will help me find the paths I have not seen, in union with all those around me. I can see that behind every great problem, there is a blessing prepared for me. Therefore, give me the opportunity to see with your eyes, for then I can understand that despite complex situations, you are teaching me to be happy; my joy is in you, my desires are in you, all that I am is for my salvation. I want to be strong and secure, to not be afraid, to act as you expect, as you show me in your word. I beg you to fill me with your Holy Spirit, which knows how to act in my life and give me everything I need to be at peace.

Lord, you are my shepherd, my guide, my bulwark, my strong rock; therefore, I know that your right hand will guide me with firm steps to holiness. Amen!

I will offer a spiritual communion for all my neighbors in homeless situations, that they may receive God’s swift assistance through friendly hands. He will deliver the needy when they cry out, the afflicted who have no helper. Blessed be the Lord, God of Israel, the only one who works wonders. Psalm seventy-one. May the Lord bless us on this day. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
