Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You hear my prayers and are faithful to bring Your will to pass. Thank You that Your Word is full of Your promises and that I never need to wonder if they are Your will for me or not. I believe that as I ask and receive the promises, I have Your yes. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Heavenly Father, I praise and glorify You! I thank You for this Saturday morning. Thank you that today is doing to be blessed. Lord, I thank You that You will guide and teach me. Help my heart and my mind to be transformed into Your likeness. Give me a fresh hunger for Your Word and truth. Cleanse me and make me new in You. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
Heavenly Father,
On this beautiful Saturday, July 20, 2024, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. Thank You for the gift of this new day and for the opportunity to rest and find renewal in Your presence. Your love and mercy sustain us, and we are grateful for Your faithfulness.
Lord, I lift up my friend and their family to You today. I ask for Your blessings, guidance, and protection over them. Surround them with Your peace and keep them safe from all harm. Fill their hearts with Your wisdom and understanding as they go about their day.
Bless this family with unity and joy. Help them to communicate with kindness and patience, supporting one another in all circumstances. Strengthen their bonds and deepen their faith, drawing them closer to You and to each other.
Your rays enter through my window and caress my face, filling me with peace and confidence. This morning is a work of your love, Eternal Father. Thank you, my God, for instilling in me the renewing breath that allows me to continue living. Thank you for allowing me to stand before you to tell you that I love you and that you are the most important to me. Because there is no one like you, and there can be no other, because you are the creator of all things, visible and invisible, whose reign will never end.
Blessed be, my Lord, for you watched over my dreams, and at the break of dawn, your voice called me to life once more. Thank you because you are always with me, and with you by my side, I shall not waver. I will not fear, for you are my shield, my strength, the sword that defends my being. My heart sings of your greatness in this moment of tranquility you give me.
Lord, I want to thank you for this new day that begins, may I live according to your love and your will. Thank you because I have nothing with which to repay you for so much goodness and so many blessings. Lord, thank you because I can rise and behold the sun of this new dawn. I know you always want the best for me, I know you have created me to be happy and to enjoy life. I ask that you give meaning to all that I am.
I want to open the window of my heart to let in the colors of the dawn you have for me. I want to praise you, I want to bless you with my voice and serve as an instrument of blessing for others because I believe in you. Be my light, my joy, be my strength and the inspiration of my heart amid struggles.
Lord, here I am because I recognize that only you can give me what I need. Here I am with an open heart, ready to acknowledge that you are great, powerful, and wonderful, and that only in your will is my fulfillment. You are the defender of those who hope in you when they live through moments of anguish and difficulty. That is why I praise you, because you always meet those who suffer and comfort their hearts.
Clothe me with your armor, take each of my burdens, and help me to continue on the path, but most of all, teach me to love. I want and must live in love. Thank you for this security you give me, thank you for showing me the right path. My mind is filled with the light of your love, and that is how I always want to be.
Lord, may I no longer take steps of insecurity and may I place my trust in you to advance firmly. Lord, today I am willing for your divine will to be fulfilled in me so that my decisions may build the heavenly kingdom. Amen.
I will dedicate a few minutes to silent prayer, seeking to hear God’s voice in my heart to calm the turmoils of my being.
I call on you with all my heart; answer me, Lord, and I will keep your statutes. I cry out to you; save me, and I will obey your decrees. Psalm 118.
May the Lord bless us on this day. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
