Pastor Greg Laurie Daily Devotional – October 25, 2026
If your heart feels a little heavy today, you’re not alone. Maybe you woke up with worries about your family, your future, or the state of our nation. Maybe you’re wondering where God is in the middle of unanswered prayers. As you read this daily devotional inspired by Pastor Greg Laurie’s heart for simple, honest, biblical encouragement, pause and let your soul breathe. God sees you where you are right now—at the kitchen table, on your lunch break, in your car—and He has not forgotten you. Today is an invitation to lean into His presence, draw strength from His Word, and remember that Jesus is closer than the air you breathe.
Anchored by God’s Word Today
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, NKJV) In a world that changes by the minute, this verse is like a solid anchor dropped into a raging sea. People change. Circumstances flip overnight. The news cycle keeps spinning. But Jesus does not change. The same Savior who walked the dusty roads of Galilee, healed the sick, calmed storms, and forgave sinners is the same Lord who stands with you right now in 2026 America. His love has not faded. His power has not weakened. His promises have not expired. When your emotions swing and your situation shifts, you don’t have to. You can steady your heart on the unchanging character of Christ.
Living with Steady Faith in an Unsteady World
You might feel like your life is made of moving parts—bills, deadlines, kids’ schedules, health concerns, and the constant pull of technology. Faith can sometimes feel like one more thing to manage. But faith isn’t about pretending everything is fine; it’s about choosing to trust the One who is in control when nothing feels fine. Today, invite Jesus into the practical parts of your life: the tense meeting at work, the anxious drive to the doctor’s office, the awkward conversation with a loved one. Whisper, “Lord, go with me into this.” Open your Bible, even if it’s only for a few minutes, and let one verse settle into your heart. Faith grows not in big moments alone but in a thousand quiet, daily choices to keep turning back to God.
Drawing Near for Deeper Faith and Growth
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to deepen my faith today. When doubts whisper that You are distant, remind me that You are near. When fear shouts louder than truth, tune my ears to hear Your voice. Grow in me a faith that is not based on how I feel, but on who You are. Help me to trust You when I understand and when I don’t. Teach me to lean into Your Word, to listen for Your Spirit’s gentle prompting, and to obey even in the small things. I surrender my plans, my expectations, and my timeline to You. Shape my heart, renew my mind, and make me more like Jesus in every season of my life.
Covering Our Homes in God’s Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones before You. You see every story, every secret struggle, every silent tear. Bring Your peace into our home and into our relationships. Heal the places where words have wounded and distance has grown. Restore what has been broken between husbands and wives, parents and children, siblings and friends. Protect our families from division, bitterness, and confusion. Fill our conversations with grace, patience, and understanding. Let our homes be places where Your presence is felt, where worship rises naturally, and where forgiveness is freely given. Draw each person I love closer to Jesus, and let our household serve You with undivided hearts.
Strength for Body, Mind, and Spirit
Heavenly Father, You know every ache, diagnosis, and hidden pain. I bring my own health and the health of those I care about to Your throne today. Strengthen weary bodies, calm anxious minds, and restore broken emotions. For those battling chronic illness, depression, or quiet fears about the future, breathe new hope. Guide doctors, nurses, and caregivers with wisdom and compassion. Help me honor You by caring for the body You’ve given me. Grant me discipline where I need to make healthier choices, and give me rest where I’ve been pushing too hard. Remind me that my life is in Your hands and that, whether in healing or in weakness, Your grace is enough for me.
