Kathryn Kuhlman 1974 Tulsa Oklahoma Parte 1
Every blessing you and I have ever received in our lifetime has come through Jesus. Every miracle we witness is made possible by Him. Every moment of worship, including this very gathering today, is a gift from Him.
John once said, “I heard a song that leads us in worship.”
Bow Before the King of Kings
(03:12)
Oh, the greatness of our God! Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess His glory. From the mighty King of Kings flows endless grace. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
(04:24)
Hallelujah! Praise be to You, Lord!
(05:48)
Thank You, Lord! You may be seated.
A Gathering in God’s Presence
Bless your heart—you arrived early again today! Do you realize how special that is? Look around you. Are you certain this is where you wanted to be? You came in, sat down, and suddenly realized—you’re part of something greater than expected. And now, thousands outside are longing for a seat, wishing to be where you are.
(06:51)
Let me share a memory. The first time I came to Dallas from Tulsa, I had no idea how much my journey would keep me moving. Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night wondering, “Where am I? What state am I in?” One of these days, I might find myself going when I should be coming and coming when I should be going!
I feel deeply honored today. It is a privilege to stand here and introduce a man of great faith—Oral Roberts.
(08:20)
This moment is yours. Thank you. I want you to know how much I appreciate you. You made this great auditorium possible. It is truly within God’s will.
For years, you have served tirelessly, and I want you to know we stand together in this mission. I still remember the first honorary doctorate ever conferred by this university. It was given to someone who best exemplified the ministry of healing through Jesus Christ—Catherine Kuhlman.
(09:24)
On the day the Board of Regents and I sat in one of the rooms on this campus, we prayed and envisioned this very building. At that moment, we emptied our wallets, gathering a total of just $232. That was all we had. Yet, with faith, we voted to build a place that would cost $11 million.
I don’t know if prayers can physically stretch, but I do know we stretched our faith, believing God would provide. And He did. Catherine, every effort has been worth it.
(10:21)
Dr. Cohen, having you here today is an honor. This beautiful Mabee Center bears the name of a man and woman who deeply loved the Lord before they passed. And today, you stand in this place, on this campus, where Jesus Christ is so real to us all. He is our Lord, and we love Him with all our hearts.
And yes, Oral Roberts is still in action!
A Moment of Fellowship
(11:34)
Governor, I know you’re here somewhere—where are you? God bless you! Those catfish and peaches you sent were incredible! Oh, and thank you for the recipe—those peaches were a knockout!
We had a little personal moment there, but I must say, Governor, it’s a blessing to see you again. Keep behaving yourself—you’re better off while I’m praying for you!
And where is Captain DeBeer? I know you’re here somewhere.
(12:19)
Ah, here he comes! Captain DeBeer went the extra mile—he chartered a plane just to be here! It was so packed they couldn’t even get all the buses they needed. You see, people are truly hungry for the spiritual.
A Tribute to Faith and Service
(13:10)
Captain DeBeer, don’t you know you’re a Baptist? Don’t you know you’re a deacon? Are you still in good standing?
I remember when we went to Houston for a meeting at that huge auditorium. When we arrived, I thought they were hosting a police convention! The entire Houston Police Force was there, standing in tribute to one of their own.
(13:53)
For 37 years, Captain DeBeer has served faithfully in law enforcement. And now, his healing stands as a testimony. If there was ever a miracle that would bring more joy and celebration, I cannot imagine it. His life is a powerful witness to God’s grace and healing power.
