Jonathan Cahn Against The Heresy Of The Nun (with Tucker Carlson) | Jonathan Cahn Special
Exposing the False Narratives: Jonathan Cahn Responds to Anti-Israel Claims with Truth and Scripture
Jonathan Cahn has released a powerful response to a recent interview aired by Tucker Carlson featuring an Eastern Orthodox nun who accused Israel—and even Christian Zionists—of wrongdoing in the Middle East. In their broadcast, they claimed that Israel is intentionally decreasing the Christian population, that the rapture and the millennium are heresies, and even portrayed Hamas as victims rather than aggressors. For millions of believers, these charges raised confusion about the Bible’s end-time prophecies and about Israel itself.
Cahn makes it clear: these claims are not just misleading but a complete reversal of reality. “Israel is being framed as the villain, while Hamas—an organization founded for the destruction of Israel—is being painted as virtuous,” he says. “This isn’t just misinformation; it’s an ancient pattern of slandering the Jewish people and God’s purposes.”
He explains that Christian populations are declining all over the Middle East—not because of Israel, but because of radical Islamic persecution. In fact, Israel is one of the only places in the region where the Christian population is actually increasing and where churches are protected, not burned. Meanwhile, under Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, once-Christian communities like Bethlehem have been reduced from more than 80% Christian to under 10%.
Cahn also confronts the accusation that Israel “steals land” or imposes unjust restrictions. He reminds viewers that Israel’s security measures—including the much-criticized wall—were built only after decades of suicide bombings, rocket attacks, and mass killings targeting civilians. “Imagine your own family being surrounded by enemies who openly vow to destroy you,” he says. “Would you not take steps to protect your children?”
The nun’s interview further suggested that Muslims “respect Jesus” and are not the real problem. Cahn warns that this creates a dangerous false picture. While there are many Muslims who simply want to live their lives, radical Islamist groups across the Middle East have imprisoned, tortured, and killed countless people who follow Jesus. To downplay this reality, he says, is to “call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20).
Cahn also rejects the conspiracy theory—echoed in the interview—that Israel controls U.S. foreign policy to harm Christians in Muslim countries. “This is the same old anti-Semitic trope dressed up for modern times,” he says. “Israel has even intervened on behalf of Christians in danger.”
He then recounts the foundational history of modern Israel, reminding viewers that the Jewish people accepted the 1947 U.N. plan to divide the land into Jewish and Arab states. It was not Israel but its surrounding Arab nations that rejected the plan and declared war, openly vowing to annihilate the Jewish state at its birth. “Israel didn’t seize land for conquest,” Cahn says. “It survived wars meant to destroy it.”
Above all, he exposes the moral inversion behind portraying Hamas as a “resistance movement” rather than a terrorist organization. Hamas’s founding charter calls for the destruction of Israel and the killing of Jews everywhere. The atrocities of October 7—massacres of families, rapes of women, and the beheading of babies—show the true face of Hamas. “If Israel’s enemies laid down their weapons, there would be peace,” Cahn says. “If Israel laid down its weapons, it would be destroyed.”
Cahn urges believers not to be swayed by sensational claims but to stand for biblical truth. “This is not about attacking individuals,” he explains. “It’s about confronting lies that lead people away from God’s Word.” He also warns viewers about fake channels using AI to imitate his voice, emphasizing that his official channel is the only authentic source for his prophetic messages.
In closing, Cahn calls Christians to pray—not only for Israel but also for those caught up in deception. “We’re commanded to love and pray for all people,” he says. “But love also tells the truth.”
