This News Could Change EVERYTHING
Have you ever been shocked by a truth from God’s Word that feels like a slap in the face—because you’ve never heard it before? That’s how it feels when we come face to face with the reality of God’s truth.
If someone denies the doctrine of the Incarnation—that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came in the flesh—they are rejecting the very foundation of Christianity. Scripture even says that anyone who denies this truth carries the spirit of Antichrist.
So let’s look at what the Bible really says. Nowhere in Scripture does it say, “If you are baptized, you automatically go to heaven.” The truth is much deeper. Salvation is not found in rituals, but in faith—faith that transforms and lives out the truth of the Gospel.
When you begin to doubt your value or self-worth, remember what God thinks of you. He created you with a mind capable of seeking truth. He expects you to use that mind to examine His Word, to discover if what you believe is truly from Him.
Today, let’s open our Bibles to Romans 15 and discover together The Perfect Gospel.
Salvation Is of the Jews
In John 4:22, Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, “Salvation is of the Jews.” But then in Romans, the Apostle Paul—writing from Corinth to the believers in Rome—expands that message to include all who would believe, both Jews and Gentiles alike.
How do these connect? The answer lies in understanding The Perfect Gospel.
The Power of the Gospel
In Romans 1:16, Paul boldly declares:
“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes—to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.”
This Gospel is not one among many. It is the one true Gospel—the perfect Good News.
Yes, Scripture warns that there are other gospels and even false Christs in the world. Wherever truth exists, counterfeit versions will try to imitate and confuse. But the real Gospel—the one revealed in the Word of God—has power to save, transform, and reveal the righteousness of God.
As Paul quotes from Habakkuk 2:4, “The just shall live by faith.” This is the heartbeat of Christianity.
