You know what I mean? When you think about it, really, think about how much when you get upset, you get it’s because you think you have something.
But you have when you realize I got nothing, I’m free. Don’t hold on you don’t even have?
You don’t have forever here.
You only only what you do for god is forever. So there’s 2 response.
You’re either gonna panic about this life or be free and say, I’m not gonna be bird.
I’m not gonna be under this bondage. That I have my treasure is not here. It’s in heaven.
You know, you witness, you give the gospel why are you afraid of witnessing? You what’s gonna happen?
If you share the gospel, they’re either gonna hate you and reject you or they’re, you know, and if they do that, it says you’re a blessed leap for joy.
You get something in heaven for that.
And and if they don’t and they accept it, then it’s a double and you get they you get salvation.
They’re saved. So it’s a win win situation, but you gotta go over the fear of rejection.
Why live your life caring what people think about you? Amen. They’re probably carrying what you think about them.
It does not. Are you afraid of losing your you don’t have a reputation.
It said, you know, you gave it to god. It’s his reputation.
That’s what you’re living for, not your own, or maybe you’re afraid again on losing if I lose money, I lose my job.
How, again, you we came in with nothing. It’s god who keeps us.
The lord, you know, asked to Peter who asked all of them, he said, are you gonna leave me too?
And Peter says, we’ve left everything to follow you. Where can we go?
Know, we in other words, we burned our bridges. We’re not going anywhere.
And then besides this, you know, everybody who’s left for me is gonna get so much more than anything they left.
You know, it it it’s you’re thinking, you know, what is god asking of you?
You think, well, it’s a big thing. God is asking you to give up to him.
Give to him that which you can’t hold on to anyway. Think about that.
Whatever you give to him, you can’t hold on to it anyway, you’re losing it. You’re gonna give to him.
And for to receive that which you cannot lose. That’s a bargain.
You’re giving what you can’t keep to receive what you can’t lose eternal life.
Let me let me share something.
I’ve kinda put it in different ways, but I wanna share it right now in time in in terms of what’s happening now.
We’ve gone through 2 years of viruses of the virus of this thing. It’s still not over.
Hopefully, it’s ending, but you know how this thing is? They say it’s ending, then it comes back. We’ll see.
But, of course, we’re all sick of it. Right? Yes. You know, first, we were concerned about getting sick.
Now we’re sick of it. But at the start of it, remember, the big lockdown in the beginning, you didn’t go anywhere.
Be it there was nothing happening. That was like a science fiction. Nothing on the road.
You could just go to get food. That was about it. Total lockdown, everybody in their house is afraid.
Now I’m not saying to not be cautious and not to, but I’m saying not to live in fear.
But everybody, you know, so we, you know, you go out to get food. You had your mask.
You had your wipes sanitizing spray. It was like the zombie apocalypse, you know, COVID version.
You many approaches, you can spray them with a with a sanitizer. You know, at the beginning, everybody was hypernervous.
On my mother’s birthday, we got the family, got our kids.
We went up to see my mother, And we had to stand outside and sing happy birthday in the night through the window.
You know? And we’ve accepted that, but the but when I walked the dog, I had to hand wipe the bot when it came back the bottom of my sneakers, and I had to wipe the dog.
You know, it was crazy. We were so, you know, but you know, we’re all afraid of that, or everybody had a everybody had a concern.
Now there was a reason, but let’s apply that. What were we worried about or you worried about now?
I’m not saying I’m not talking about masks. I’m not talking about anything.
That’s your choice before I’m not talking about it, but I’m talking about fear.
Either we’re gonna get COVID or we’re not gonna get COVID. Okay?
If we don’t get it, we’re we’re good.
If we get it, gonna either have symptoms or we’re not gonna have symptoms.
If we don’t have symptoms, we won’t know it anyway. We’re good.
If we do have symptoms, we’ll get sick. You know, uh, we’ll have or we’ll just have symptoms.
If we just have the symptoms, we’re good.
If we get sick, we’re gonna get really sick or we’re gonna get a little sick.
If we get a little sick, we’re good.
If we get really sick, then we’re if we get worse well, well, they’re ultimately gonna recover, and that’s good.
We’re good, or it gets worse. We’re gonna get near death and we’ll recover, we’re still good.
Or we die, in which case we’re saved and we go to heaven, and we’re good.
We’re better than we’ve ever been, and that’s what we’re afraid of.
So the worst thing that COVID can do to us is get us into heaven.
I thought that was a good thing. The worst possible thing is the best possible thing.
You know, all our fears are about getting into heaven. You know, we went crazy doing everything we can.
Wipe it down so we don’t get to heaven.
I thought we wanted to get to heaven, but that’s the 0 point.
So the problem is in our mind, we often never get to that point.
We just we just get fear in the meantime. We don’t ever think of the end of it.
He said, oh, no. This will happen, or that’ll happen. But you don’t take it all the way.
The worst thing of anything that’s gonna happen to you is heaven.
You can put all your fears in a box and throw it because the worst possible thing is have him.
Remember that. Be free. Do the will of god.
You can you can live fear free, anxiety free. It doesn’t mean you don’t take precautions again.
But you don’t live in fear. That’s not what god gave for us.
We’re afraid of losing so much, you know, and you cannot do that in the end because you don’t have it.
You see, you in the end, spiritually on earth, we’ve got nothing.
I mean, we we we are entrusted, borrowed all that, but we don’t have.
We have god, but on earth, we’ve got nothing. But nothing is a very valuable thing.
Because if you have nothing, you got nothing to lose.
If you have nothing, you have nothing to worry about. You gotta worry about nothing. So nothing.
If you have nothing, you’ve got nothing to get upset about.
You have nothing to weigh you down, so nothing is a very, very precious thing to have.
You know what I mean?
When you think about it, really, think about how much when you get upset, you get it’s because you think you have something.
But you have when you realize I got nothing, I’m free.
Don’t hold on to what you don’t even have. You know, in the kingdom of god, you let go.
You even give You can.
When I used to go down to the city, you know, administering to the homeless and we give out trucks and we give out food, you know, we go to the the the the most, you know, mess it back then.
It was much worse with with everything that was happening in New York City, like in the eighties and dangerous place filled with drug pushers and addicts and criminals and and yet we went with zero fear at all.
Why? Because we came there to give to them.
We came to give god’s love, and there was no fear in us.
We could go right up to any of them. There was no fear. Because we had a mission.
We’re here to bless. We’re not. We’re in other words. Fear you’re looking out for yourself.
You’re afraid of yourself, but but when you’re giving, when you’re let there’s no fear.
It says perfect love casts out all fear. Now we think about, well, god’s love getting in there.
I won’t have fear. But, yes. Yes.
But, also, when you the more you love, with god’s love, the less you have fear, because fear and love don’t go together.
You know, and we’ll say, well, what hap what would be the worst thing?
They’d come and they’d rob us of our sandwiches, and they rob us of everything we have.
We came to give so they can’t rob us.
So, you know, if you’re giving, it’s impossible for somebody to rob you.
You know, someone’s gotta come on robbing you. You can’t rob me. I gotta no.
Because I’m giving, so you can’t rob me. Someone comes and take your code.
It says give them the other one.
The enemy comes to rob, but if you’ve got nothing to lose, he’s got nothing on you.
He’s got nothing on you. If you’re not if you’re not concerned about about your rep your life and he’s got nothing on you, he can’t use anything.
Give You’re holding on to time.
You don’t have to you know, the time we have here is just pass it away. Give to god.
You got possessions, use it for god. You give you give give of love.
Whatever you’ve got, give it for god. Use it. Give. You know, step out.
To come to that spot, that’s what god wants.
