Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for waking me up to see the beauty of this new Sunday.

Thank You for the breath in my lungs, the strength in my body, and the hope that fills my heart because of Your unfailing love.

Before I do anything else today, I choose to draw near to You.

I choose to quiet my heart, seek Your presence, and place my complete trust in Your faithful hands.

Father, thank You for carrying me through every season of my life.

Thank You for the blessings I have seen and for the ways You have worked quietly in my life when I did not even realize it.

Thank You for Your mercy that meets me each morning and for Your grace that is always enough for whatever lies ahead.

Lord, quiet every anxious thought within me.

Remove the worries that try to steal my peace and the fears that try to distract me from Your presence.

Help me begin this day with a heart that is fully surrendered to You.

Teach me to seek You before seeking anything else.

Let Your wisdom guide my decisions.

Let Your truth shape my thoughts.

Let Your love be reflected in every word I speak and every action I take.

Father, I do not know everything this day will bring, but I find comfort in knowing that You do.

Nothing surprises You.

Nothing is beyond Your power.

Nothing is too difficult for You.

So today, I choose not to place my confidence in my own strength or understanding.

Instead, I place my trust in You.

Your Word says in Psalm 16:8,

“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

Lord, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You throughout this day.

When challenges arise, remind me that You are beside me.

When unexpected moments come my way, help me remember that I do not have to face them alone.

When I feel weak, be my strength.

When I feel uncertain, be my confidence.

When I feel afraid, be my refuge and my peace.

Because You are with me, I can move forward with courage.

Because You are faithful, I can rest even when I do not have all the answers.

Because Your love never fails, I can face this day with hope.

Father, guide me in every step I take today.

Keep me from rushing ahead without seeking Your direction.

Give me wisdom when I need to make decisions.

Give me patience when I am tempted to become frustrated.

Give me discernment to recognize what is right and the courage to follow where You lead.

Help me to walk in a way that honors You.

Let my thoughts be pleasing to You.

Lord, I lift up my family and all those I love into Your hands today.

Watch over them with Your mighty protection.

Keep them safe wherever they go.

Meet every need they carry, including the needs they have spoken about and the burdens they may be carrying silently.

When they feel tired, renew their strength.

When they feel discouraged, lift their spirits.

When they face uncertainty, remind them that You are already making a way.

Surround them with Your love and let them experience Your presence in a fresh and personal way.

Father, I pray that our home will be filled with Your peace.

Let our conversations be filled with kindness.

Teach us to be patient with one another.

Help us forgive quickly and love generously.

When misunderstandings arise, give us humility and understanding.

When someone in our family is hurting, help us to offer comfort and support.

May our home be a place of peace, faith, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

Lord, use me today to be a blessing to someone else.

Open my eyes to notice the person who needs encouragement.

Give me words to comfort someone who is hurting.

Help me bring hope to someone who feels discouraged or alone.

Let me be patient with those who test my patience and kind to those who may never be able to repay my kindness.
