Exposing Deception: When Wolves Preach in Sheep’s Clothing
What if you could hear the deception—straight from the lips of those who preach it?
Today, I’m going to let the false teachers speak for themselves. You’ll hear the very words of people who are globally recognized, celebrated even, yet who twist the gospel into something it was never meant to be. They parade around as pastors, prophets, and apostles—but in truth, they preach not Christ, but self. Fame. Fortune. Feel-good messages that have nothing to do with the cross.
The Bible tells us these kinds of people would come—Jesus warned us. Paul, Peter, and John echoed that same warning. But today, their voices are often drowned out by the applause of crowds who want entertainment, not truth.
Some of what you’re about to hear is shocking. Blasphemous. It might even make you angry. That’s okay. That’s a good thing. Because we need to be stirred—shaken even—to realize that what’s happening in much of the modern church is not a revival… it’s a great falling away.
These aren’t misunderstandings or theological differences. These are deliberate distortions. People teaching that we are gods, that the cross was a means to wealth, that Jesus was just a tool to unlock success. That is not the gospel—it is a lie from hell wrapped in Christian language.
We live in an age where biblical literacy is low, and spiritual hunger is high. That’s the perfect environment for wolves to thrive. And thrive they do. But you and I have a responsibility—not just to spot false teaching, but to stand against it. To love people enough to speak truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it’s unpopular.
Don’t just take my word for it—listen to what they’re saying. Compare it with the Word of God. You’ll see a massive chasm between what Jesus taught and what is being sold as Christianity today.
There’s still a remnant. There are still faithful teachers. But they are not the ones with the biggest platforms. They’re often the ones quietly teaching truth without fanfare. The question is—do we want the truth, or do we want a show?
Be alert. Be grounded in Scripture. And don’t be deceived.
