Dr. Bill Winston : All Your Needs Will Be Met – The Law of Confession
The Believer’s Walk of Faith is made possible through the faithful support of partners and viewers of Bill Winston Ministries.
There is a powerful spiritual principle called the law of confession. Every time you speak, you are setting something in motion. What many people fail to realize is the direct connection between what they say and what they experience in life.
You can speak life, or you can speak death. Words are not empty sounds or meaningless noise. According to Scripture, words carry spiritual power. Your spirit stores the words you consistently believe and speak, and when pressure or adversity comes, those words are what rise to the surface.
The enemy watches for careless conversations. His goal is to get you to speak against what God has already declared. Every belief that did not come from God must be uprooted. When your confession aligns with the Word of God, your life begins to align with His promises.
You will rise or fall to the level of your confession.
In the Bible, only Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land from their generation. Why? Because of what they boldly declared in faith. While others spoke fear and unbelief, Joshua and Caleb publicly trusted God’s promise, even when the crowd threatened to stone them for it.
This same principle appears throughout Scripture. In The Gospel of John chapter 12, many people refused to confess Jesus openly because they feared rejection from society. Fear silences faith, but faith speaks boldly.
In Book of Joshua chapter 14, Caleb recalled how he was 40 years old when Moses sent him to spy out the land. Forty-five years later, at 85 years old, he was still strong and full of faith because he continued believing and speaking God’s promise over his life.
The Hebrew word “chayah” means to live, revive, restore, preserve, and give life. Caleb understood that God had preserved him through every season because he remained steadfast in faith.
Here is the truth: no one can stop your progress except you.
God has established spiritual authority within every believer. No government, no economy, no boss, and no obstacle can determine your future when you walk in agreement with God’s Word. Too often people blame others for their circumstances, but Scripture teaches that life and death are in the power of the tongue.
Even in the story of Job, Satan could not touch him until there was a breach in the hedge of protection. In Book of Ecclesiastes, the Bible says that when the hedge is broken, the serpent can bite. Job himself later prayed, asking God to show him where he had spoken wrongly.
The enemy has no true authority of his own. His greatest weapon is deception. He seeks access through negative words, fear, doubt, and unbelief. That is why believers are instructed to give no place to the devil and to speak words that build faith, encourage others, and glorify God.
Your confession shapes your direction.
If God says you are healed, then speak healing. If God says you are blessed, then speak blessing. If God says you will overcome, then refuse to agree with defeat. Faith speaks before the evidence appears.
David declared victory over Goliath before the battle began. The three Hebrew men declared that God would deliver them before they entered the fiery furnace. They did not know how God would move, but they trusted Him completely.
Faith runs toward challenges instead of away from them.
Many believers wait on God while God is waiting for them to speak and act in faith. Your words matter because they release agreement with heaven.
Dr. Winston also shared the inspiring testimony of renowned preacher E. V. Hill. Raised in deep poverty, Hill’s mother continually confessed that her son would go to school despite criticism from others. Though they lacked resources, she refused to change her confession.
When E.V. Hill arrived at college with almost no money, he stood in line believing God would make a way. At the last moment, he was called aside and informed that he had received a full four-year scholarship, books, and a monthly stipend. His breakthrough came because faith-filled words were continually spoken over his future.
The issue was never the money. The issue was the confession.
When your words align with God’s promises, provision, favor, healing, wisdom, and opportunity begin to manifest. Even the business world understands the importance of positive thinking and confident speech. Successful people do not constantly speak defeat over themselves.
Change your confession, and you can change your destiny.
Dr. Winston encouraged believers everywhere to speak God’s promises individually and collectively, declaring that entire cities and communities can be transformed through faith-filled words.
The message concluded with an invitation to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Bill Winston explained that true transformation begins with a personal relationship with Christ. He encouraged viewers to invite Jesus into their hearts and begin a new life of faith, victory, and spiritual growth.
Through his teaching series, “The Law of Confession,” Bill Winston reminds believers that words are powerful spiritual seeds. When planted in faith and agreement with God’s Word, they produce life-changing results.
