Why have humans come to believe that life is all about hard training, with no fun and no sense of well-being? Jerry wants to remind you that not everyone feels this way. Esther would argue that those individuals are being unkind, while Jerry would add that mean people are simply unaware of their actions. However, Jerry always encouraged Esther to avoid generalizing and throwing everyone into the same category.

So, why have people developed this mindset? We can agree that this belief is quite common in society today. The main reason is that most people prioritize action over the power of aligned energy. As a result, they feel trapped in a cycle of time scarcity, believing they must overwork or overfocus to achieve anything. This leads to people draining the fun and joy out of their lives by trying to force progress with sheer effort, rather than leveraging the power of focused energy.

When we ask for something, we set the wheels in motion to receive. However, we can only receive when we are in alignment with what we’re asking for. To get into alignment, we need to feel good, right? Yes, we are in full agreement with this. You can only receive when your vibration matches what you desire. But here’s the important part: you don’t need to focus on the specific object of your desire to be in alignment. You simply need to be in a receiving mode.

Engage in activities that bring you joy or excitement, even if they aren’t directly related to what you’re asking for. For example, the game we’ve been playing, where you find something you want and the universe delivers it to you, can put you in a positive mindset. Many of you have shared your experiences with us about how this works. Engaging in something enjoyable helps ease resistance on multiple levels, and often, it opens the door for other things you’ve been resisting to flow into your life.

To clarify: when we ask for something, it sets the process of receiving in motion. But we can only receive when we are in alignment with our request. The key to this alignment is feeling good. Don’t focus on excuses for why you can’t feel good. Remember, if you let go of resistance, everything begins to flow effortlessly.

Is happiness the key to getting aligned? Yes, feeling happy helps, but it’s not the only emotion that works. You can feel satisfied, eager, or appreciative—these are also states of alignment. If you want to call these emotions “happy,” that’s perfectly fine. But you can also feel interest or excitement in learning something new, and that can also put you in alignment. Whatever label you choose, feeling good is the key.
