As followers of Jesus, we don’t get a life free from problems—but we do have a God who meets us in the middle of them. Today, as we join our hearts together in this Craig Groeschel-inspired daily devotional, let’s lean into a simple truth: God is closer than the anxiety in your chest and stronger than the mountain in front of you. Right now, He sees you, He knows what you’re carrying, and He’s ready to walk with you through this day.

Anchored in a Promise

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5–6, NIV) This verse invites us to stop trying to make sense of everything on our own. God doesn’t ask you to understand every twist and turn; He asks you to trust Him in all of them. When you place your full weight on His wisdom rather than your limited perspective, He promises to direct your steps—sometimes one small step at a time. Today, instead of replaying worst-case scenarios, you can choose to rest in the God who already stands in your tomorrow.

Walking Through Today with Courage

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to deepen my faith today. When doubts whisper that You’ve forgotten me, remind my heart that You are faithful and true. Grow in me a hunger for Your Word and a desire to know You more. Teach me to listen for Your voice above the noise of fear and distraction. Help me surrender my plans, my timing, and my understanding, trusting that Your ways are higher and better. Strengthen my spirit so that when I’m tempted to give up, I will instead look up.
