Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional – October 1, 2026: Standing Firm in Grace
As you step into this new day, you may be carrying questions, quiet anxieties, or even a deep weariness that you’ve tried to hide from others. God sees all of it. He knows the battles you’re facing in your mind, in your home, and in your circumstances. Today’s devotional is a gentle reminder that you are not called to struggle alone or to “measure up” in your own strength. You are invited to stand in the unshakable grace of God, fully accepted and completely loved because of Jesus. Let these words draw you close to the Father’s heart and help you walk through this day with renewed hope, deepened faith, and a steady confidence that He is for you and with you.
Rooted In Unshakable Grace
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8, NKJV). This verse reminds us that everything we have in Christ is a gift. You did not earn salvation; you received it. In the same way, you don’t earn God’s love, favor, or presence. They are yours because Jesus paid the full price. When life feels heavy, the enemy whispers that you’re not enough, that you’ve failed too many times. But grace says, “Look at Jesus, not at yourself.” Today, allow your heart to rest in the finished work of Christ. You are secure, forgiven, and made righteous in Him, not by your performance but by His perfect sacrifice.
Living Today From A Place Of Rest
Grace does not make us passive; it makes us powerful. When you truly believe that God is for you, you stop living in panic mode and start living in trust. Instead of trying to control everything, you begin to release each concern into His hands. Today, when worry rises about your children, your health, or your finances, pause and say, “Lord, I trust Your grace more than my fears.” Practically, this looks like choosing to speak God’s promises rather than rehearsing worst-case scenarios, taking a deep breath before reacting, and asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom before making decisions. As you keep your eyes on Jesus, His peace will begin to shape your responses and transform your day from the inside out.
Strengthened Faith And Growing Trust
Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my faith before You today. I confess that I often lean on my own understanding and feel the pressure to fix everything. I ask You to help me trust Your heart even when I don’t see the full picture. Deepen my faith so that I stand on Your promises instead of my feelings. Let my spirit be more aware of Your Word than of the noise around me. Teach me to listen for Your voice, to follow Your leading, and to depend on Your grace moment by moment. Grow me in spiritual maturity so that I reflect Jesus in my attitudes, my words, and my choices. I surrender this day to You and believe that You are working in me and through me for Your glory.
Covering Our Homes With God’s Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. You see every strain in our relationships, every unspoken hurt, and every fear about the future. I ask You to flood our home with Your peace. Heal broken communication, soften hardened hearts, and restore what has been damaged by anger, misunderstanding, or distance. Let forgiveness flow like a river between husbands and wives, parents and children, siblings and friends. Surround my family with Your protection and unity. May our home be a place where Your presence is welcomed, Your name is honored, and Your love is felt in every conversation. Guide us to pray together, laugh together, and support one another in faith.
Health, Healing, And Inner Strength
Jesus, You are the Healer of my body, soul, and spirit. I bring every sickness, pain, and symptom to You now. I ask for Your healing power to touch my body from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Strengthen my immune system, restore what is broken, and bring balance to every part of me. For the emotional burdens I carry—stress, anxiety, grief, or discouragement—breathe Your comfort and peace into my heart. Break the weight of fear and hopelessness. Fill me with new strength, energy, and clarity. Help me to steward my body well with rest, wisdom, and healthy choices,
