This program is made possible in part by the partners and friends of Creflo Dollar Ministries. Welcome to Changing Your World.
Today’s message reveals an important truth about spiritual growth, emotional healing, and physical wellness. Scripture teaches that the condition of your soul can deeply affect every area of your life. When your mind is renewed, your emotions are healed, and your heart is filled with peace, it can positively influence your health, relationships, and future.
Proverbs 16:24 declares that pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones. This verse shows the powerful connection between words, emotions, and the body. Encouraging words can refresh your inner life and strengthen your physical well-being. What enters your heart and mind matters more than many people realize.
Many people carry hidden pain from past trauma, rejection, disappointment, or stress. Those wounds may not always be visible, but they can still impact the body and the mind. Experiences such as abandonment, hardship, loss, or emotional neglect can leave scars that need healing. God cares not only about your spiritual life, but also about your emotional restoration.
Sometimes people try to ignore pain by saying everything is fine, but unhealed wounds do not disappear simply because they are denied. Healing begins when truth is acknowledged and brought before God. When the soul begins to heal, peace can flourish, and that peace can bring strength to the body.
Proverbs 17:22 says that a joyful heart is like medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. Joy is not a small thing in the kingdom of God. Joy can refresh the mind, lift the atmosphere around you, and bring new energy into your life. Have you ever noticed how being around joyful people can make you feel lighter and stronger? In the same way, living under constant negativity, fear, or emotional heaviness can drain your strength.
One of the greatest keys to a healthy soul is gratitude. Gratitude shifts your focus from what is missing to what God has already done. When one door closes, begin thanking God for the doors that are still open. If something did not happen as planned, thank Him for the blessings you already have. Thank Him for shelter, provision, relationships, opportunities, protection, and daily grace.
Complaining keeps people trapped in frustration, but gratitude opens the heart to peace. Contentment combined with godliness creates stability and strength. A thankful heart becomes fertile ground for joy, healing, and renewed faith.
Another major key to emotional freedom is forgiveness. Unforgiveness can become a heavy burden that damages your peace and affects your health. Many people continue replaying old offenses in their minds while the other person has already moved on. Holding onto bitterness often hurts the wounded person more than the offender.
Ephesians 4:31 and 32 teaches believers to put away bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, slander, and every form of evil behavior. Instead, we are called to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving one another just as God, through Christ, has forgiven us.
Bitterness is unresolved pain that has remained too long in the heart. Anger is often connected to fear. Harsh speech and slander create destruction in relationships and in the soul. But kindness, honor, patience, and compassion create life.
Forgiveness does not mean approving wrong behavior. Forgiveness means refusing to let pain control your future. It means choosing freedom. It means releasing the burden into God’s hands.
If you are struggling to forgive, begin with these steps. First, acknowledge the hurt honestly. Second, choose forgiveness daily as an act of your will. Third, ask God for help and strength. Fourth, practice compassion and ask what pain may have shaped the other person’s actions. Fifth, release the desire for revenge. Sixth, replace negative thoughts with God’s truth. Seventh, seek healthy support when needed from trusted people who can help you heal.
God desires wholeness for every part of your life. Sometimes people spend too much time asking why something happened and not enough time receiving God’s love in the middle of it. Whether pain came through choices, circumstances, spiritual attack, or situations beyond understanding, Jesus still desires to heal, restore, and make whole.
Do not allow spiritual pride or closed thinking to stop your growth. Renewing the mind is a lifelong journey. No matter how much you know, there is always more to learn from God. A teachable heart remains open to truth, correction, and deeper revelation.
Some people stop growing because they assume they already know enough. But spiritual maturity requires continual transformation. God may adjust your thinking again and again as He leads you into greater freedom and wisdom.
Peace is one of the greatest evidences of a soul aligned with God. When the mind is renewed and the heart rests in His grace, peace becomes visible in your life. It changes how you respond to pressure, relationships, and challenges.
First Peter 2:24 declares that Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the cross so that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness. By His stripes, you were healed. Healing is not something God wants to keep from you. Through Jesus Christ, healing has already been provided.
Today, you do not have to strive to earn healing. You can receive by faith what Christ has already accomplished. His finished work includes forgiveness, righteousness, peace, restoration, and healing.
The presence of God can do more than we imagine. In His presence, hearts are healed, minds are renewed, wisdom is released, and lives are changed. One moment with God can transform years of pain.
Even in difficult times, God’s mission continues. Jesus said there would be challenges in the earth, but the end would come only after the gospel has been preached throughout the world. That is why sharing grace, truth, and hope remains so important.
No matter where you are in life today, God’s Word can reach you. His grace is available now. His peace is available now. His healing is available now. His love is available now.
Salvation is the beginning of a new life. Through Christ, you can step into the fullness of who God created you to be and experience the reality of His finished work. Jesus still saves, restores, heals, and transforms lives today.
