We are living in a year that calls us back to the most important priority of all: spending time in the Word of God. No matter how busy life becomes, we must intentionally make space each day to rest, listen, and receive His Word. The Bible teaches that when the Word is preached, light is released and in that light, we begin to see clearly. Suddenly, solutions appear, wisdom is imparted, and revelation begins to guide us through challenges. God’s truth enlightens our hearts in ways that human understanding never could.

If you desire to reign in life, understand this powerful principle: God’s supply is always greater than your capacity to receive. Scripture declares that those who receive an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through Jesus Christ. Righteousness is not something you earn through effort or performance it is a gift, fully paid for by the blood of Christ on the cross. And as you receive this gift by faith, you will begin to experience “much more” in every area of your life your family, your work, and everything you touch.

Remember this: God loves every person equally, but those who are aware of His love and choose to live in it experience a deeper, stronger faith. Faith works through love, and when you are confident that God loves you yesterday, today, and forever trusting Him becomes natural and effortless. The Bible reminds us not to forget His benefits: He forgives all your sins, heals all your diseases, redeems your life from destruction, crowns you with lovingkindness, and renews your strength like the eagle’s. These are not symbolic promises they are real blessings available to you.

This “year of much more” does not mean a life without challenges. Trials will come, but they are only for a season they are not permanent. God promises that while difficult days may arise, they are temporary, and they will give way to many good days ahead. Even in moments when you feel overwhelmed or uncertain, you can trust that God remains your refuge, your strength, and your source of hope.

That is why it is essential to stay rooted in the Word. Often, seasons of struggle are preceded by neglecting time with God. But when you return to His Word, something changes inside you. Like Mary sitting at Jesus’ feet, choosing the “one thing needful,” you begin to experience peace instead of anxiety, clarity instead of confusion, and strength instead of weariness. God’s desire is not that you strive for Him, but that you receive from Him because He is a giving God who delights in pouring out blessings upon His children.

Faith, then, is simply the hand that receives what God freely gives. The more you open your heart to Him, the more you will experience His abundance. Just as the oil continued to flow as long as there were vessels to receive it, God’s supply continues to flow into every open and willing heart. His provision never runs dry.

So as you move forward this year, make it your priority to spend time in His Word, to believe His promises, and to receive His grace. As you do, you will not remain the same. You will grow in wisdom, in strength, and in faith and you will begin to see “much more” manifest in your life, just as God has promised. Amen.
