Eternity in Your Heart: Living in the Unending Love of God
From the moment you were created, God placed eternity in your heart (Ecclesiastes 3:11). It’s why there’s a longing deep inside you that nothing in this world can satisfy—not money, relationships, success, or pleasure. That space was designed for God alone.
We live in a world where nothing lasts. Given enough time, everything fades, crumbles, or is forgotten. Yet eternity is not just endless time—it is life beyond time. We can’t fully grasp it because we have no earthly comparison. But Jesus Christ, who has no beginning or end, invites us into it.
Scripture tells us that we were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). Before you ever succeeded or failed, before you did anything good or bad, God already loved you—completely, eternally, unconditionally. His love isn’t based on what you do but on who He is. Nothing can make Him stop loving you or make Him love you more.
He not only loved you from eternity past—He designed you for eternity future. Inside you is a God-shaped space, and until He fills it, life will always feel incomplete. Even after you become a Christian, you’ll sense that longing, because we were made for Heaven. One day, when we see Him face to face, we will say, “This is what I’ve been searching for all along.”
Eternal life is not something that begins when you die—it starts the moment you receive Jesus as your Savior. It’s the life of God within you. It brings:
Enjoyment – not shallow happiness, but deep peace in knowing you are right with your Creator.
Enlargement – God expands your influence, gifts, and purpose far beyond what you imagined.
Enrichment – life becomes fuller as the Holy Spirit works in and through you.
Right now, Jesus reigns at the right hand of God. He is:
Providing for you, in complete control over all that happens.
Praying for you, interceding before the Father even before you know your needs.
Protecting you, keeping you from stumbling and preparing to present you faultless before God.
Preparing a place for you, a perfect home where you will live with Him forever.
And it all begins the moment you say yes to Him. The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” That restless longing in your soul is your invitation. Don’t try to fill it with anything else—it will only leave you empty.
Today, you can receive the best gift you will ever be offered: the eternal life, love, and presence of Jesus Christ. It will change your life here, and your forever.
If you want, I can also make a shorter, highly emotional YouTube description from this so it’s ready for posting. That would grab attention and fit SEO perfectly. Would you like me to do that next?
