Thankful Thursday Blessings

This month of MAY, you will cry not because someone hurts you but because God has answered your prayers. If you know that God is with you, AMEN.

Lord, I’m placing the month of MAY in Your hands,
Amen.

Today’s morning prayer for Thursday, May 1, 2025. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. God of heaven, I thank you for giving me a new opportunity to encounter you. Today my face reflects your love with joy. I am grateful for this new prayer to begin the day and the blessing of welcoming the first day of this new month.

God beloved, this morning I come before you with complete trust to offer you my heart. I pray that you cover me with your divine protection so I can walk by your side throughout the day. I surrender all that I am to you—my hands, my heart, my dreams, my moments of joy, my sorrows, my wounds, and every corner of my being.

You know when I feel weak, when I find it difficult to maintain serenity in the face of problems I cannot solve. Therefore, I pray that you give me strength, fill me with courage, and never let me lack hope or trust in you. Grant me also the humility to receive with peace and gratitude the corrections that help me grow.

Today I renew my faith in you and your limitless mercy, because I recognize that without your love, forgiveness, and blessing, I would not be here. I perceive you in the harmony of all you have created, in the beauty of the clouds and the light of the sky. I also discover you in the grandeur of the mountains, in the song of your creatures, and in those who seek to live according to your will.

It is you, my God, who has placed a mission in my hands in this life, who calls me with tenderness. You knocked on my door with love to let me know that you have a plan for me and wish to reveal it. Therefore, today I ask for a sensitive heart that knows how to listen and clearly understand what you want to tell me. I want to follow Jesus’ example, fulfilling your will and lovingly accepting the mission you have entrusted to me.

Dear Father, I completely surrender this day to you. I desire that your joy floods me and reflects in everything I do. Fill my life with your blessings, Lord, so that resentment and hatred find no place in my heart. I want everything I say and do to be a reflection of you and for those around me to discover your gaze in the tenderness of my eyes.
