Unlock The Overflow: Obedience Is Key // Livin’ In The Overflow (Part 2) // Michael Todd

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

Hello, my name is Bri, and I have the privilege of serving as the Chief of Staff at Transformation Church. At TC, our vision is to represent God to both the lost and the found for transformation in Christ. We sincerely thank you for tuning in, no matter where you’re watching from. If you haven’t already, be sure to like and subscribe—we believe God has a word just for you. Now, let’s dive into today’s message.

I’m going to be obedient to what God has placed on my heart today. I’m feeling so full right now, and I’m going to share from the overflow. I might not even get to these notes because what’s inside of me right now is coming out. If you don’t catch it, I’m going to keep going anyway. I’ve been talking to my team backstage, and I can’t contain it—there’s so much in me.

We are stepping into a new season at our church. I truly believe this shift began after our 21 days of prayer and fasting. You may have already felt it, but the church is alive. And this isn’t just about numbers; it’s about souls. Things are starting to shift, and this is a place where the atmosphere will stir up what’s already inside you. When you’re in the right environment, the seed God has placed within you will thrive.

A seed can’t grow in the wrong atmosphere, but in a fertile environment, ideas will flow. When you step into worship, you may even need to grab your phone because God will give you the wisdom you need for your life. In this space, years of unforgiveness can fall away. You might not even like the song playing, but it could be the key to your breakthrough.

I hear this clearly: being here on Sundays, gathering with this community, will be a lifeline for those God is calling to this season of fruitfulness. It’s not about building monuments—it’s about creating the right environment for the right fruit to grow. And let me tell you, the word I’m about to share with you over the next several weeks was completely redirected by God. I had a different plan, but God interrupted me. While in Africa, I thought I had my message set, but God said, “What you want to preach isn’t what I have for them.”

So, I went to Africa with a different message, and when I started speaking, something in me shifted. It was the hunger of the people—this was not about being entertained or inspired. These people came for transformation. God gave me a word for them, and I believe He’s giving it to us today: “Demand more from God.”

In Western culture, many come seeking inspiration, but God is calling us to ask for transformation. The people in Africa had a different demand. They came not just for a little encouragement but for a life-changing encounter with God. We, too, need to stop thinking so small. We have to believe that God is our true provider, not our jobs or circumstances. We must put our full trust in God.

As I reflect on this, I realize that God wants to do a mighty work through us, but He needs us to partner with Him. He’s offended when we trust anything more than Him, even after all He’s already done for us. It’s time for us to put a demand on Him, believing He can do what He has already promised.
