Thursday Blessings!

November 30, 2023

Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good and
acceptable and perfect will of God.

I pray you close out the month of November
with a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus.
I pray you are turning away from the things of
the world and living in the good, acceptable,
and perfect will of God for your life. I pray you
remain anchored in the word of God so your
thoughts are pure and not contaminated by
the culture of this world. I pray you end this
month with a new mindset that says I belong
to God and He will be magnified in my life. I
pray this over you, your family and your
friends in Jesus name.

Father God, I come before you this Thursday and I ask that You would give me eyes to see and ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying and doing. Give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation. So, that I may know the hope of my calling through Christ Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!

Precious Jesus, I lift up this Thursday to you and ask that You be close to me all day. Let me be aware of your Presence and Your voice. That way I can follow your leading in everything I do. Help me to have Godly wisdom when I am making decisions throughout the day. From the smallest choices to the large ones, be my guide and help. In Jesus’ name, amen.

To help you achieve and maintain a new level of contentment in your life, I encourage you to use some of your quiet time with God to make a list of everything you have to be thankful for. It should be a long list, one that includes little things as well as big things. Why should it be long? Because we all have a lot of things to be thankful for if we just look for them.

Get out a piece of paper and start listing things you have to be thankful for. Keep the list and add to it frequently. Make it a point to think about the things that you’re grateful for when you’re driving the kids to an activity or waiting in line at the post office or whatever you may be doing throughout the day. You can only learn the power of thankfulness by practicing it every day. Meditating on what you have to be grateful for every day and verbalizing it will be amazingly helpful to you.

Prayer of the Day: Father, thank You so much! You are only good, and I should always be mindful of the many blessings I enjoy. Please open my eyes to the good and cultivate a heart of gratitude in me on the daily, amen.
