Trump, Moses, & The Mystery Of The Hostage Release

Could Trump and the release of the hostages from Gaza all be part of an ancient mystery? Could Moses be behind it? And could it be connected to the Messiah?

A Day of Fulfilled Prayer

With a ceasefire in place, celebration swept across Israel and beyond. Twenty hostages returned to the embrace of their families, and twenty-eight others were brought home to rest forever on their sacred soil. After years of war and chaos, the skies grew calm, the guns fell silent, and peace returned — at least for a moment — to the Holy Land.

Was it simply coincidence that this deliverance happened on this exact day? Or could it be that God had ordained it over 3,000 years ago, in the time of Moses?

A Mystery from Sinai

Let’s go back to the sands of Sinai, where God gave Moses the sacred ordinances and appointed feasts — the divine calendar of redemption. The final feast in that cycle is called Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. It’s a feast of joy, thanksgiving, and dwelling in God’s presence.

It was no accident that Hamas launched its attack on October 7, 2023, a date that fell during Sukkot — a holy day God had appointed for celebration and blessing. Yet, the enemy turned it into a day of sorrow and bloodshed.

Now, exactly two years later, on October 13, 2025, God brought that story full circle. On His calendar, that date was the 21st of Tishrei — the final day of Sukkot, known as Hoshana Rabbah, meaning “The Great Salvation.”

The Day of Great Salvation

In the Bible, Hoshana Rabbah is called “the great day of the feast.” It was on this very day, 2,000 years ago, that Messiah Jesus stood in the Temple and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
(John 7:37)

The Hebrew word Hoshana means “Lord, save us!” For two years, Israel and believers around the world had been praying those very words — “Lord, save!” — for the captives in Gaza. And God answered on the very day that means “The Great Saving.”

On the day of completion, in the feast of completion, during the month of completion, God completed the captivity of His people.
He ended it — on the day of divine completion.
