Thankful Wednesday Blessings

Dear God, thank You for getting me through this day. Thank You for giving me strength when I feel like tapping out. God, I lift up the person praying this prayer along with me right now. You know their heart. You know what they’re carrying. I ask that as they get ready to sleep tonight, You will cover them with peace. Give them the kind of peace that doesn’t need an explanation. Let them feel Your presence like never before. Wrap them in Your love. Bring healing to their body, mind, and heart. Break every chain that’s been holding them back. Set them free from fear, guilt, anxiety, and anything not from You. Dry their tears and give them courage again, hope again, and joy again. Let Your love chase away loneliness. Let them know deep down they are not alone… not tonight, not ever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As for God, His way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in Him. -Psalm 18:30.

Lord, on this new morning as I open my eyes, I thank You for the gift of life and for everything I am able to see. Manifest Your power in me, show Your goodness in my life, and let me never forget that You are here with me. I adore You this morning for all the blessings You give me. I praise You because You never allow my life to lose meaning. Even in the midst of trials, You give purpose to my existence.

I also lift up to You all those who are lonely, those who feel abandoned or are battling depression. Make them aware that You are with them, that You never forsake them, and that You always care for them. I believe You hear my prayers, and I trust that right now You are filling me with Your blessings. Remind us all that we are deeply loved by You and that You desire our happiness.

My help comes from You, Lord. Without You I cannot face the battles of life; without You my days lose light. Fill me with Your presence and with Your love. Illuminate my heart with the colors of joy and peace, and immerse me in the river of Your love so that I may continue walking in Your will. Thank You for protecting me, for strengthening me, and for giving me courage to keep going. Grant me fidelity and perseverance so that I never turn away from You.

Send the light of Your Holy Spirit upon me so that I may always seek to please You and live according to Your will. May my sufferings never push me toward the wrong path, but instead become moments of trust in Your power. I praise You because You show me daily that I can rely on You. Do not allow my heart to be darkened by past mistakes or filled with regret over what could have been. Instead, help me to accept Your forgiveness and walk forward in the freedom of Your grace.

Give me strength to overcome difficulties and courage to face every challenge. Do not let fear defeat me. You created me to be victorious, to fight and to win the battles of each day. Infuse me with the courage that comes from Your Spirit so that I may face everything in Your name without hesitation. I praise You at the start of this day because You are always at work in my life, performing miracles that often go unnoticed but are real and constant.

I know You are with me, sustaining me and lifting me up. Help me to persevere in Your name. Give me strength to keep moving forward, for I know that You are everything I need to be truly happy. Your faithfulness never fails, and Your love never abandons me. I remain firm because I believe in You, because I know You will open doors, and because You fill my life with goodness. Guide me today so that I may lift my voice in praise for all Your blessings. Let my words be a source of peace and love, and walk with me as I begin this day. Amen.

As a small sacrifice, I will give up a personal pleasure today so that I may grow in humility and be more generous with those around me.
