Thankful Sunday Blessings

Dear God, thank You for this day. With only 10 days left in 2024, I’m asking for Your strength to carry me through each one. Your word in Psalm 59:16 says, “But I will sing of Your strength, in the morning I will sing of Your love; for You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.” God, I know You didn’t carry me through this year just to let me down. You didn’t help me up to this point just to leave me. Thank You for being my strength, even when I have no more strength left in me. I trust You to sustain me and guide me through each step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still. -Exodus 14:14

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, on this new day, I want to renew my covenant with You, proclaim my love for You, and affirm my willingness to continue doing Your will. Today, as always, I surrender my life into Your hands. I entrust every moment I will live today to You.

Thank You for this new opportunity to converse with You, to ask You to fill me with strength and motivation to move forward. You alone know me completely, and because of this, You give me exactly what I need to be happy and to walk the path of holiness. I am convinced that You always hear me and know my pleas. I lay them before You, asking for Your help to walk through life without fear.

Remove from me any feelings or thoughts that stray from Your plan and prevent me from experiencing true joy. This morning, Lord, I place my heart in Your hands, along with all my feelings and desires. May Your love guide me, may Your peace be my refuge, and may every step I take be under Your blessing.

Lord, I ask You to help me cultivate thoughts of love and to speak kind and just words. In each of these, I will feel Your power and love, granting me patience to act, respond, and express what lies in my heart. This morning, give me a heart that opens to You, so I may discover that You are always by my side, caring for me and blessing me.

Thank You for creating me in Your image and likeness. May I continue to lean on Your infinite love, always remaining in Your Sacred Heart. I desire, Lord, that my life reflect the love You pour into me so that my brothers and sisters may come to know You through me.

Thank You, Lord, for the Church, for the community of brothers and sisters who accompany me on this journey of faith. Thank You for those who dedicate their lives to serving You—the pastors and servants who guide and nourish us spiritually. Thank You for the sacraments, visible signs of Your grace, and for every celebration that reminds us that we are part of a united body in You.

Thank You for the breath of life You give me in every moment and for restoring me through the marvelous work of the Holy Spirit. I will not fear, my God, because I know You are with me. You are all I need to overcome any difficulty. Today, I stand firm because I believe in You, knowing that You will open paths for me and fill me with every good thing You have.

Fill me with Your strength today so I can overcome any obstacle that tries to block my way. Blessed are You, my Lord, for allowing me to enjoy Your presence this morning and discover that You are here with me. Amen.
