Pastor Greg Laurie Daily Devotional – October 26, 2026

If your heart feels a little weary today, you are not alone. Many believers across America wake up carrying invisible burdens—concerns about family, finances, health, or the future. Yet right in the middle of all that, God is gently reaching toward you. He sees the bills on your table, the texts you wish you never received, the diagnosis you didn’t expect, and the prayers that feel like they’re bouncing off the ceiling. Today, let this devotional be a quiet pause where you breathe again, remember God’s promises, and rediscover the steady hope you have in Jesus Christ. The same Lord who met you yesterday is faithfully walking with you today, and He is already waiting for you in every tomorrow.

Anchored by God’s Unshakable Promise

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, ESV) This verse doesn’t just sound comforting; it is a lifeline. Everything around us changes—jobs, health, relationships, politics, even how we feel about ourselves. But Jesus does not change. The same Savior who calmed storms, healed broken bodies, forgave sinners, and restored shattered hearts is still doing that work today. When you don’t recognize your life anymore, when plans fall apart, when people disappoint you, lift your eyes to the One who never shifts with the culture or the circumstances. His love remains constant, His grace sufficient, His power strong enough for what you are facing right now.

Walking with Hope in an Uncertain World

It’s easy to scroll through the news or social media and feel your hope drain away. Yet hope for the follower of Jesus is not wishful thinking; it is confident expectation based on God’s character. That means you can bring God into the ordinary moments of today—your commute, your coffee break, your errands, your conversations. When anxiety creeps in, whisper His promises. When discouragement hits, remember how He has carried you before. Choose small acts of obedience: speak kindly when you are irritated, pause to pray before a hard conversation, open your Bible even when you feel numb. Spiritual growth rarely comes in dramatic bursts; it usually comes through daily, quiet, faithful steps. The Holy Spirit is working in you, even when you don’t feel it.

Drawing Near in Faith and Trust

Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my faith to You today, even if it feels small and fragile. Strengthen my trust in who You are, not just in what I can see. Grow in me a deeper hunger for Your Word and a greater sensitivity to Your Spirit. When doubts and fears press against my mind, remind me that You are steady, wise, and always good. Help me surrender my own agenda and receive Yours, believing that Your plans are better than anything I could design. Teach me to listen for Your voice, to lean into Your presence, and to walk by faith, not by feelings. Let my life today reflect confidence in Christ, shining as a quiet witness of Your hope and peace.

Covering Our Homes in God’s Peace

Lord, I lift my family and loved ones before You. You know every tension, every unspoken worry, every hidden hurt behind our closed doors. Bring peace to our home, healing to broken relationships, and tenderness where hearts have grown hard. Guard our conversations; let words of encouragement replace criticism and sarcasm. Draw prodigal hearts back to You. Protect our children and grandchildren in a confusing world—surround them with godly influences and give them courage to stand for You. May our home be a place where Your presence is felt, where forgiveness flows freely, and where love is stronger than pride. Let our family story be woven with Your grace from generation to generation.

Health, Healing, and Renewed Strength

Heavenly Father, You see every ache, every symptom, every sleepless night. I ask for Your healing touch over our bodies, minds, and emotions. For those battling chronic pain, cancer, anxiety, depression, or silent struggles, stretch forth Your hand and bring relief. Grant wisdom to doctors, nurses, and caregivers. Strengthen immune systems, steady heartbeats, and calm racing thoughts. Where we feel drained, pour in fresh strength. Where we feel broken, pour in Your comfort. Remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and help us honor You in how we rest, eat, move, and manage stress. Above all, heal our hearts from fear and fill us with the deep assurance
