Night Prayer to Release Anxiety and Rest in God’s Love
Night Prayer to Release Anxiety and Rest in God’s Love
Before you close your eyes tonight… pause for a moment.
Take a deep breath.
What if, in the next few moments, you could release every worry, every fear, and finally rest in a peace that only God can give?
Stay here. Let your heart slow down. Let this moment become a place of surrender.
Heavenly Father, as the night settles in and the world grows quiet, I come before You with a heart that feels heavy, restless, and in need of Your peace. You see every anxious thought that has followed me throughout this day. You know the worries I carried, the fears I tried to hide, and the stress that has kept my mind from resting.
Tonight, I surrender it all to You.
I release every anxious thought, every moment of overthinking, and every fear about tomorrow into Your hands. I no longer want to carry what You have already invited me to lay down. So right now, I let it go.
Calm my heart, Lord. Quiet the noise within my mind. Silence the racing thoughts that keep me awake. Replace my anxiety with Your perfect peace. Let Your presence fill every corner of my soul until I feel the stillness that comes from knowing You are in control.
Father, I confess that there are times when I try to handle everything on my own. I hold on to worries I cannot change and fears that only You can take away. But tonight, I choose differently.
I choose to trust You.
You are my refuge. You are my safe place. When anxiety rises, remind me that You are near. When fear tries to take over, remind me that You are greater than anything I face. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that I am not alone.
Wrap me in Your love tonight. Let Your peace flow through my heart like a gentle river, washing away every trace of stress and worry. Help me to rest deeply, knowing that You are watching over me.
I place every concern into Your hands right now — every unanswered question, every uncertainty about the future, every burden that weighs on my heart. I release anxiety and choose faith. I release fear and choose trust. I release stress and choose Your peace.
Your love is greater than my worries.
Your promises are stronger than my fears.
Your presence is more powerful than anything that tries to overwhelm me.
Tonight, I rest in that truth.
Fill my heart with a peace that surpasses all understanding — a peace that guards my mind and protects my heart as I sleep. Remove every anxious thought and replace it with calm assurance. Let Your Spirit comfort me and remind me that everything is in Your hands.
Even when I do not understand what is happening, I trust that You are working all things for my good. Even when I feel uncertain, I believe that Your plans are perfect. And even if anxiety tries to return, I will stand on Your promises.
Teach me to rest in You, Lord. Teach me to let go of control and fully depend on You. Help me remember that I do not need to have all the answers, because You already do.
Tonight, I lay down every burden.
I lay down every anxious thought.
I lay down every fear about tomorrow.
And I choose to rest in Your love.
Cover me with Your peace as I sleep. Let Your protection surround me through the night. Let my body relax, my mind grow still, and my spirit be refreshed. Remove every tension and replace it with deep, restoring rest.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love — a love that never leaves, never fails, and holds me even in my weakest moments. Your love is my safe place, and tonight, I choose to rest in it.
When anxiety tries to return, remind me that Your love casts out fear. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that I am held securely in Your hands. When sleep feels far away, remind me that You are right here with me.
I am not alone.
You are with me in this moment.
You are with me in this night.
You are with me in every breath I take.
And because You are with me… I can rest.
Tonight, I choose rest over worry.
Faith over fear.
Peace over anxiety.
I place everything into Your loving hands.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

I ask your prayers for my brother, Dan, recovering from a stroke on Wednesday. Please.
I want to pray with and for all of us who seek the Lord,
for guidance,
for healing,
for comfort,
for strength,
for financial needs,
for deliverance,
for mercy,
for forgiveness,
for help,
for love ...
There is so much need in the world and in all, we need Jesus.
There are so many of us in need, and we all need Jesus.
God loves us all and He is near, even though we may not feel Him. He is listening and He answers our prayers, even though it may require patience and time.
We must learn to trust in the Lord. We must learn to have faith. We must put ourselves and all our needs in God\'s hands. Trust in His plan.
All good things are sent from God, from Heaven above.
He is our Heavenly Father and He knows each and every one of us. Since before we were conceived He has known us. And He loves each and every one of us.
He is, He was, and He will always be.
He takes care of His children. All He asks of us is to follow His word and His ways, to love and care for each other as He loves and cares for us, and to speak and live truth, God\'s word, God\'s truth.
May the Lord God reach out and touch each and every one of us today. May we hear His voice and feel Him working in us and in our lives.
May we be thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made, bearing our sins and dying on the cross to redeem us, cleanse us of sin and make us true children of God.
Let us be thankful for our Saviour. Let us be thankful for every blessing received and yet to be received.
Let us praise His name. Let us praise Him who gave us life, who answers our prayers, who lifts us up, who blesses us, who loves us.
Let us share the good news of Christ, by our words & our actions. Let them see Him in us.
Let all our needs be fulfilled. Let us show by our faith, praise and thanksgiving how God has granted forgiveness, healing, comfort, strength, fulfillment, joy, peace and love to us, His children.
We must have faith in Him, from who all goodness & righteousness flows. We must \"Name it and Claim it\" , in Jesus\' name.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, His love endures forever.
Amen.
We also join in prayer for all who seek the Lord today—for guidance, healing, comfort, strength, financial provision, deliverance, mercy, forgiveness, help, love, and peace.
Lord, touch every heart that is weary, every home that is burdened, and every life in need. Remind us that You are near, that You hear every prayer, and that Your timing is perfect. Teach us to trust You more deeply and to place every need into Your loving hands.
Thank You for Jesus Christ, for His sacrifice, for redemption, mercy, and hope. Thank You for every blessing already given and every answer still on the way.
May our lives reflect Your goodness so others may see You in us through our words, our actions, and our love.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—Your love endures forever.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I am just reaching out asking that you keep me uplifted in prayer. I thought my season of struggle and survival mode would be over with by now. I thought I made a smart decision by giving my car back because I couldn’t afford the notes anymore and had plans on purchasing a nice little reliable car with my tax refund but I received notice that my entire Federal income tax refund was taken for a past debt in 2022.
At this point I am so drained, so exhausted of feeling like every moment that I expect something good to happen for me, it doesn’t!
I am so exhausted with my son being witness to his mother struggling. Like every year it’s something! I am so tired of trying!
So now I have the new home, a job but now NO CAR to get to the job.
I absolutely don’t make enough money to take a Lyft/Uber there and back. I have to send my child back to stay with my parents throughout the week so he doesn’t miss any school and that bothers me for more reasons than three but hey, I guess I should be grateful that he can even go.
I’m literally on edge every single day worrying about if I’ll lose my job because I have to miss days when I don’t have a way or not enough money to take Lyft.
Thank you and hopefully you find it in your heart to say a prayer for me.
May God strengthen you where you feel drained and exhausted. May He breathe fresh hope into your heart when disappointment has worn you down.
May the Lord make a way for transportation, protect your job, and provide the resources you need for your home and your child. May unexpected help, favor, and open doors come to you in ways you did not see coming.
May fear about tomorrow be replaced with peace for today. May shame and discouragement be lifted from you. You are not failing—you are fighting through a hard season.
May your son see not only struggle, but also courage, perseverance, and the faithfulness of God carrying his mother through.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Need God to set me free from all illness and sickness. Heal my heart and lungs.
May He touch your heart and lungs with strength, restoration, and renewed health. May every breath be easier, every burden lighter, and every part of your body strengthened by His grace.
May peace replace fear, and hope rise within you each day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a humble heart, lifting up my dear community member into Your loving hands. Lord, You are the God who heals — and we trust in Your power and compassion.
I ask that You touch Jon Alexander body with Your healing hand. Restore what is weak, strengthen what is tired, and bring peace where there is pain. Let Your healing virtue flow through every cell, every organ, every part of Jon’s being.
Calm Jon fears, ease Jon mind, and surround Jon with Your perfect peace. Give wisdom to the doctors, clarity to caregivers, and comfort to their family.
Father, we stand on Your Word that by Your stripes we are healed. We believe You are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask. Cover Jon with Your grace and let this season become a testimony of Your faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
May Your healing hand rest upon Jon’s body. Restore what is weak, strengthen what is weary, and bring peace where there is pain. Let healing flow through every cell, every organ, and every part of his being.
Calm every fear, ease every anxious thought, and surround Jon with perfect peace. Give wisdom to the doctors, clarity to caregivers, and comfort to all who love him.
We trust that You are able to do far beyond what we ask or imagine. May this season become a testimony of Your goodness, mercy, and faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
