Prayer for the day December 11, 2023
Lord Jesus Christ, take away the idols in my life so that, completely undivided, I may serve You, my Savior.
Prayer of the Day: Thank You, Father, that You hear my every prayer and that it doesn’t have to be long and complicated. Prompt me to pray before I even step foot on the floor in the mornings, and before starting anything new. I am grateful that I can have a continuous conversation with You all through the day, amen.
Good Morning! Many blessings to you this Monday morning. May His peace and grace be with you as you have a blessed and productive day. May He bless you beyond measure.

Lord Jesus, I ask that this Monday would be filled with your goodness. That you would grant me the grace and peace needed to fulfill Your will. In Jesus name, amen.
But whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers. – Psalm 1:2-3
Lord, I pray that starting this Monday that you would give me a deep passion for Your Word. Help me to learn and eat from it. That I may become like a tree planted by streams of water and that I may bear good fruit. Use me for Your glory and be a blessing to those around me. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Today’s Word
In Joshua 2 is the story of how, by an act of faith, the prostitute Rahab hid the Israelite spies in the city of Jericho. Imagine one of those spies telling her, “What you’ve just done is going to make such an impact that thousands of years from now people are going to be talking about you. You’re going to marry an Israelite and one day be in the family line of Jesus Christ. And you will be listed in the Bible among the heroes of the faith.” She would have said, “You have the wrong person. Don’t you see the way I’ve lived?” Rahab had no idea of what God was going to do through her life.
God doesn’t judge or write people off the way people do. If you only knew how God sees you. He calls you a masterpiece. He put royal blood in your veins. He’s crowned you with favor. Nothing you’ve done has lessened your value or made Him love you any less. He’s leading you to an amazing future, to something better than you’ve imagined.
Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You see me as a masterpiece of Yours and that You’ve crowned me with favor. Thank You that when others try to discount me and write me off that You have already counted and written me in. I believe that You are leading me into an amazing future. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
