Keep the Faith – Dr. Bill Winston (Sunday, June 30, 2024)

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

You need to have unwavering faith in God. When the enemy causes someone to stumble, we can blame it on the devil, but deep down, we know our faith was tested. I just want to remind you of God’s goodness. As you can see, I’ve left you in capable hands today. Dr. Bailey, one of my spiritual daughters, is here to deliver the message. It’s a blessing to be here. Today marks exactly 90 days since something happened that left me wheelchair-bound. The enemy tried to attack, but here I stand, a testimony to the power of faith.

I encourage you to keep your faith strong. I’m on the front line, and the enemy thinks if he can get to me, he can get to you. But let me assure you, he won’t succeed. I’m here to tell you that your prayers are working! Amen! I almost wanted to give you $100 just for that, but let’s keep moving forward in faith.

Right now, I want to see the rest of this restoration happen swiftly. We will release a confession soon, and it will be available on the website, either tomorrow or the next day. In the meantime, let’s reflect on these scriptures.

First, Isaiah 58:8, which says, “Your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear.” This promise of restoration will come speedily, and the glory of God will shine upon you.

Next, in Luke 4:39, when Jesus visited Peter’s house, Peter’s mother-in-law was suffering from a severe fever. Jesus stood over her, rebuked the fever, and immediately it left her. There was no trace that she had ever been ill. This is the kind of immediate healing we need today.

Another instance is in Acts 12:5-7. Peter was imprisoned, but the church prayed continuously for him. That same night, as he slept between two soldiers, an angel of the Lord appeared, woke him up, and his chains fell off. Deliverance was instant. This shows us that God’s work doesn’t take months; we need deliverance now.

Let’s also look at Luke 18:8, where it says, “I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly.” However, the verse also asks, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” This tells us that faith will be rare because the enemy is working hard to steal it, but at Living Word, we will not let our faith be taken!

Lastly, let’s consider Job 22:28: “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways.” We are going to create a declaration, a confession of faith, and when you speak it, expect God to move. Amen! We will post it on the website by Tuesday. I encourage you to read it and declare it every day.

It’s time for us to get back on track! Let’s give Jesus a hand and praise Him for what He’s doing in our lives. Hallelujah!
