Jonathan Cahn Answers Candace Owens & Varied Anti-Semites
What happened to Candace Owens? Something dark. Jonathan Cahn addresses it, the charges she’s levelled against the Jewish people, and even the rise of antisemitism among some “conservative” circles.
Candace Owens, once known as a prominent conservative commentator, has now taken a troubling turn—launching repeated verbal attacks against Israel, Judaism, and the Jewish people. Recently, she even accused Israel of being a “cult nation.” But what does the Bible say about such claims? And what does the “dragon” in Revelation have to do with all of this?
Jonathan Cahn addresses these questions directly, warning believers about the ancient spiritual force behind anti-Semitism. He reminds viewers that Israel’s existence is tied to God’s purposes in Scripture, which makes the nation a prime target for Satan—the accuser—who seeks to slander, vilify, and destroy the Jewish people.
Cahn points to Revelation 12, where a woman clothed with the sun, moon, and twelve stars (symbolizing Israel) is persecuted by a great red dragon. The dragon’s rage against Israel continues into the last days, and anyone aligning with that hatred—knowingly or not—stands on the wrong side of God’s plan.
Owens’ recent remarks go beyond political critique. She has:
Accused Holocaust survivors of “pretending” to be refugees.
Claimed Israel is “master of the universe,” echoing dangerous anti-Semitic conspiracy theories once used by Hitler.
Suggested the Star of David is a “cultic” symbol, showing a misunderstanding of both history and language.
Repeated centuries-old blood libel myths, falsely accusing Jews of ritual murder.
Cahn calls these statements “toxic lies from the pits of hell” and warns that such rhetoric is exactly what fueled past atrocities against the Jewish people, including the Holocaust. He also explains that the term Zionism—so often misrepresented—simply means the belief that the Jewish people have a right to return to their biblical homeland, a right clearly affirmed in Scripture.
Quoting God’s promises from Ezekiel and Jeremiah, Cahn stresses that the re-gathering of Israel is not a human political project, but a divine fulfillment of prophecy. He reminds Christians that Israel gave the world the Bible, the knowledge of God, and the Messiah—Jesus Himself.
The warning is clear: Genesis 12:3 says God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse it. Standing against Israel is not just a political stance—it is spiritual opposition to God’s purposes.
Cahn urges believers to reject anti-Israel conspiracy theories, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and remain vigilant as the enemy seeks to infiltrate even Christian and conservative circles with anti-Semitic narratives. He closes with a call to examine whose side we are truly on: God’s side of blessing, or the accuser’s side of destruction.
