I understand this deeply. But can I share with you what I’ve been learning? When we’re praying and expecting God to do what only our finite human minds can see as good, we negate the fact that His definition of good and His timing of good is so much bigger and better than ours.

When we release control or our suggestions of outcomes to God, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds. We can trust Him, friend. And we can trust that in His character, nature, wisdom, power, compassion, and love, He has the ability absolutely to respond to our prayers.
