Hey You, Process – Sarah Jakes Roberts
Hey You, Process x Sarah Jakes Roberts
God’s Messages
Dear Lord,
Today…….I am asking all my prayer warriors to say a prayer that may help others. So many people are hurting right now. Many are struggling with finances and need jobs. Some are facing foreclosure and don’t even know how they are going to make it from week to week..
Many are lonely. . Many are heartbroken. . Many are facing sickness and health is fading. . Some are dealing with difficult family members. Many have lost HOPE.. Tonight, let us put our prayers and faith together decree and declare breakthrough over our families. Financial miracles WILL take place. Jobs WILL be found. Our Bodies WILL be made whole & sickness WILL flee. Marriages and relationships WILL be restored. Family members WILL find Jesus. Heartbreaks WILL be healed. JOY WILL be restored and HOPE WILL be found. In Jesus Name. Amen!!!!!! Keep God First…….
Hey, you, I know it’s been a little while since we got together, but it is time for us to have that time of the month where we come together and just acknowledge that we need to take our cape off from time to time.
The word of the month for August for woman evolve is process.
And that word is defined as a series of actions or steps taken to achieve a particular end.
But if I’m honest, sometimes taking those steps feels like picking which ladder, how fast, how high, where does it lead?
And did I choose the right one?
And instead of taking those steps instead of actually moving towards a particular in what I do instead is stay stagnant and then frustrated because I didn’t start moving.
I want you to know that no matter what season you’re in that we’ve been praying for you.
We’ve been thinking about the vision that God has for you.
And we have prayed that tonight would be an environment that brings you closer and closer to that vision that you would no longer feel anxiety about choosing the wrong path, but that you would feel confident that no matter where you are, as long as God is with you, it will lead to a particular end that is beautiful.
But our goal tonight is to get you moving.
And part of the way that we get moving is to recognize the testimony and the value of other people’s stories.
There’s this incredible song that is like a throwback from worship, but it was so in tune with what I believe God was saying for this season that I wanted to share it with you a fresh and the lyrics of this song, they’re so beautiful, but it’s the story.
I’ll tell emphasis on the, I’ll tell. It’s not the story I’m telling right now.
But when it’s all said and done, there is a story that I am going to tell and it is going to be a story of victory because I discovered, discovered God in the midst of uncertainty.
So before we get started, I just wanna pray, my prayer is that God would consecrate your heart for this moment, that it would be a time in which you allow the presence of God to fill your atmosphere and to drown out anything that doesn’t look like God.
And that in the process of that, that God would bring back to your remembrance, the steps that you should take for this moment.
I love this because when I think steps, sometimes I think about literally just taking, putting one step in front of the other.
But when God orders our steps, he’s ordering us to promotion to elevation to growth.
And so my prayer is that tonight will be lofty, that it will take you to a higher altitude than you’ve been at for a while.
And that you would maintain that altitude or increase that altitude.
Even as this evening is coming to an end.
Text to all of your friends, text all of your girls, tell them, there’s something that God has to say to them tonight.
You can invite them to have some girl time with me and together we’ll take it step by step.
God, I thank you for the blessing that is over this night, for the gift of every soul.
Every woman connected to this moment, God individually, you know exactly where we are.
But collectively, you know that when we come together, that you will be in our mist.
Some of us watching from Africa, others watching from California, someone else from Texas, Australia and yet all of us have come together to be in your midst.
Sit in this atmosphere, sit amongst us CS.
May we behold you and may we be forever changed in Jesus name? Amen.
I don’t know if you feel the way that I do.
But there are moments when I feel like I don’t know enough about the women around me, the women in the world.
And as I was watching that video, I was just reminded of the power that we receive when we receive one another’s testimony, not just overhear it but receive it.
Oh God, there’s something powerful about receiving the testimony so that it can water the seeds of our own destiny.
There’s one thing to hear it.
There’s one thing to like it on social media, but to receive the testimony is to say, God, I see what you’ve done in the lives of someone else.
God, I see that she was healed.
I see that she was able to get the resource is I see that she was able to take the steps.
That means that my feet can move. That means that my life can change. My life can grow and evolve.
And so just for a moment, I want you to just receive those testimonies that you have just witnessed, receive them, allow it to speak to your fear, allow it to speak to your insecurities because when we receive it, it’s a weapon against our anxiety.
It’s a weapon against our worry.
And so I am so thankful for those women for just sharing the process to them becoming who they are right now because when I see her baby, it helps me to make my baby leap as well.
You know how I do so, you know, hey, you is technically not supposed to be like a full fledged service, right?
It’s supposed to be time for us to come together and have some girl time to learn and grow and connect with insight about what God is doing in the earth.
And yet as I was praying, I just felt like God, what is it that you’re doing with women in the earth?
Can I be honest with you for a moment? Like there’s so much going on in the world.
Like I’m tired. Hello? I’m taking a nap.
I’m asleep right now during, hey, you, ok, there’s so much going on that.
It’s like God, I don’t know what to do and it feels like the little that I did do was nothing compared to the big things that are happening in the world.
Have you ever had moments like this? I hope this transparency makes you feel a little less alone.
There are some seasons where you are so sure that I am affecting change, I am bringing impact.
So I know that I am a part of something bigger than myself.
And then if we’re honest, there are moments where we wonder did it matter at all?
I started going to therapy, but I’m still back in this depression. Did it matter at all?
I made some changes at work.
I, I brought in some new systems and structures, but now there’s this whole new swarm of things that I’ve got to confront.
Did it matter at all? What do we do when we lose our certainty when we lose the confidence that we once had?
It’s one thing to have never had confidence, but there is a special trauma that comes when I once had it and now I’ve lost it and I don’t even know how to get it back again.
This word process and I already shared with you the definition, but I’m gonna share it with you over and over and over again.
Process is a series of actions or steps taken to achieve a particular end. What is that particular end?
That’s what we lose when we lose our confidence.
I feel like we are the most focused, the most confidence, the most sure of our productivity when we recognize that I am moving towards that particular end and then life comes and it gets fuzzy and blurry.
And now suddenly I don’t even know what the particular end would be.
I thought breaking the generational curse was the particular in.
But now I’m beginning to think, Lord if I can just make it through the day and little by little our world, our goals, our measures for success and progress begin to shrink.
I wanna talk to some real people.
It feels like the world has been out of our control all last year.
This year, it’s more in our control, but we don’t know what to do or how to function or whether or not what we’re doing actually has relevancy.
I was studying about really laying hold of what we know because as I ask God, what is it that you’re doing with women in this season?
What is your word? I believe that God always has a word for us.
When I ask God, what is it that you want women to know in this season about what you’re doing?
And I felt that God was telling me and I wanted him to say I can, I be honest, I wanted God to say something like boom shack like a like something that was gonna be so spot on so that I could get you fired up.
And it was just a whisper. Oh God, I feel your presence on this.
Sometimes we want the booming voice.
We want the flood of fuel and power and faith that sets us on fire.
But God gave me a whisper and that whisper was simply work what you know, work what you know, and it was a whisper because everything else is so loud, the uncertainty is loud, the resources or lack of resources are so loud.
The headlines are so loud but I hear God saying work what you know, work what you know, work what you know.
And so my job, my assignment is to bring you to a place where we can highlight what you know.
Again, I wanna speak to your uncertainty. I wanna speak to your doubt.
I wanna speak to your lackadaisical attitude about what’s happening in the world.
And I wanna remind you that you have been called to be a game changer.
I wanna remind you that you were not born by coincidence that your life is not random that when all hell breaks loose, it’s because God believes that heaven can still take rain and bring everything that is breaking loose and bring it into captivity so that the king of earth can be established.
I came to talk to someone who’s sitting on the sidelines.
You don’t even know how you got on the sidelines.
You just looked up and one day you were in the game and the next day you weren’t my assignment for you.
Hey, you is to remind you that you are equipped for this moment.
You’re standing in that God did not bring you to this season of your life.
For you to feel like he has left you here.
God has trusted you with what he has placed down on the inside of you.
I hear God saying that I’ve been exposing you that I’ve been installing and equipping downloads and revelations and strategies and creativity for this moment.
And the worst thing you can do is begin to live in uncertainty to live in a perpetual state of, I don’t know when God has given you something worth knowing is sin.
And I hear God saying that if you wanna break the curse of sin connected to your life, that you gotta work, what you know, I want you to type it in the comments, work what you know, work what you know, work what you know, I want you to tell your neighbor that’s how we’re gonna tell our neighbor today work what you know, work what you know, somebody’s thinking of someone right now who’s lost and in confusion.
I want you to type, text them right now and let them know that it is time for them to log into, hey, you because it is time for them to work what they know.
So let’s get to it. Let’s get to what you know, let me provide with you the insight, depth and wisdom that God gave me as it relates to working.
What you know, I was studying in first Samuel 25 23.
Gosh, this is such a beautiful text and I’m gonna try not to preach.
I’m gonna try and just have girl time with you.
I’m gonna try and not preach, but I want you to know this thing got into my holy ghost, ok?
Because Abigail, we find Abigail in this text.
She’s married to her husband and had an encounter with David.
David would be the king, the most famous king of Israel.
And but before he became king, he was on the run because the previous king said, what you’re not gonna do is get this throne, ok?
That’s what you’re not gonna do.
So, King David is on the run, the assumed to be king David is on the run and he has an encounter with and he tells him that he will not serve King David while he’s on the run he tells him that um you know, I’m not gonna give you sheep.
I’m not gonna take care of your servants.
I’m not gonna provide you with the resources that you’re asking of me because you’re not king yet.
You might be king one day but you are not king yet.
So I am not gonna sacrifice for you.
Abigail knew that this was a terrible injustice because she recognized who David is and because she recognizes who David is.
She is now in a situation where what she knows and who she’s been is at war.
Let that sink in for a little bit because there are moments when who you are is not connected to what you know, now you should be somewhere that is considered a safe space so we can keep it 100.
You know what it’s like when who you are showing up in the world as is not connected to what you know, if I was preaching about my girl eve, I would say that you have a know better but don’t do better mentality, but it’s not always so easy to activate what you know.
And Abigail is in a predicament because her husband has really upset David.
And now David is willing to come and destroy everything connected to.
And so if she continues to ignore what she knows, her destiny is on the line, that’s not just Abigail’s moment.
This is your moment too, your inability to activate what you know, is a threat to your destiny, ignoring what you know, may keep your environment comfortable.
But that comfort is a lie because sooner or later that environment is gonna make a demand on what you know.
And when you ignore what, you know, when God gives you, can we talk for a moment about the gift of God giving you something.
You know, when God gives you something that, you know, in a world where we even say, I don’t know, we don’t know what we wanna eat.
We don’t know what we wanna wear. The most simple things we don’t know.
But when God gives you a knowing, there is something powerful about God giving you a knowing.
And then the question becomes, how do I translate what God is giving me into?
What I see the process, the particular end that we are searching for is ultimately how do I take what I know and turn it into what I see?
I wanna be a good wife, but I’ve never seen a wife before.
How do I take what I know and turn it into what I see.
I want to show up in this position because I have vision and I know that I can do it, but I don’t have the tools.
I don’t have the voice. I’m not sure how I communicate.
So how do I take what I know and translate it into what I see the enemy after all is not after what you do because what you do starts with what, you know, the enemy is not after what you did because what you did has already been done.
The enemy is after what you know, because if I can get what, you know, I can get it from becoming what you see.
I’m going back to Genesis and which he tells Eve in the middle of the garden. Did God really say?
Do you really know what God said?
Or can I get the seed of what you know before it becomes fruit and produces generational fruit in your life?
So Abigail knows something about her husband. I’m gonna tell you like this.
In the new King James version, Abigail knows her husband is a fool, right?
I didn’t say that that’s what the word says. I wish I said it but I didn’t. OK.
Um I wanna read this text to you very quickly and then I just wanna share with you a few insights that I think are important for us as we begin to illuminate what we know so that we can move into the process.
Remember that word process has that ending, the particular end, the particular end.
I wanna highlight what you know, so that you can get to that particular end because the end is still alive, no matter how much grief, no matter how much depression or frustration or anxiety you’re up against, that particular end still exists.
For those of you wondering real fast.
The particular end that God has for all of us, he tells us in Genesis one and 26 is, is let us make man in our own image.
That means that when I get finished making man, that man’s ending ought to look like me.
So anything in your life that doesn’t look like God has to go through a process so that it can get to the particular end of looking like God.
That’s why doubt can’t stay. That’s why worry cannot stay.
That’s why your insecurities have to move out because it is at war with the particular end.
And my job, my job tonight is to help you clean up what needs to be cleaned up so you can get to the particular end.
First, Samuel is 25 23. And it says now when Abigail saw David, she dismounted quickly from the donkey fell on her face before David and bowed down to the ground.
And she says to him, when she falls at his feet on me, my Lord on me, let this iniquity be and please let your maid servants speak in your ears and hear the words of your maid servants.
I wanna pause right there because you have to understand for the time in which Abigail was living in for her to one break ranks with her husband and then to go speak directly to David was completely inappropriate, but she knew something that would break the rules of the environment that she was in.
A lot of times we don’t activate what we know because what we know doesn’t fit within the context of the culture that we live in.
And yet when God puts you in a position where it’s time for you to act on what you know, that means that you may have to break the comfort and the culture of what you have known to activate what God has shown you.
Oh God, I wish I could say that the way that I feel it.
Because at the end of the day, the day, if you’re waiting for the culture to respect what you know, then the culture will dictate your destiny.
But if you say God, if you have given it to me and created an opportunity for what you have given me to save those connected to me, then I would be drowning them in hopes of staying afloat in culture when I could decide to build an arc that save all of us.
Abigail has a moment that she’s standing in where she recognizes that if I don’t do this thing, then the generations are gonna suffer.
If I don’t do this thing, then everything connected to me is gonna suffer.
And I just came to tell you to zoom out of the picture for just a moment because if you zoom out of the picture, what you’re gonna see is that this thing is bigger than you.
But the war is just between you because the enemy recognizes that if I can bring war to her, I don’t have to touch her Children.
I don’t have to touch the servants.
I don’t have to touch the generations because if she gives up, they’ll die with her.
But if she would dare take her position, if she would dare take her authority, then she will recognize that.
Not only did she help herself, but she helped everything connected to her.
Sometimes you don’t have enough strength for yourself. Sometimes you don’t have enough courage for yourself.
And God has to remind you that it’s not just about you. Let me serve as your reminder.
It’s not just about you. If you don’t step into your moment, if you don’t activate what you know, it’s not that you are gonna die full it that everyone else is gonna die empty because you have been called to pour out what God has poured in you so that others will not be empty.
Hey, you, hey, you, hey, you, I came to poke you out of your comfort.
Hey, you, I came to shake up your world.
Hey, you, I came to tell you that it’s time for you to get out of your comfort zone.
Hey, you, it’s time for you to start and get those classes.
Hey, you, it’s time for you to go back to school.
Hey, you, it’s time for you to go to therapy.
Hey, you, hey, you Hey, you, there’s a generation connected to you.
Hey, you, hey, you, hey, you, that generational blessing is connected to you.
Hey, you, hey, you, hey, you, your breakthrough, your breakthrough is in what you know, and if you don’t stop focusing on what you don’t know, then what you do know will lose its power.
Abigail had a window where, what she knows is potent.
Oh God, what she knows is potent in this window.
And she recognizes that if I don’t take advantage of this window, then I may miss it all.
So she broke the ranks and she upset the culture and she moved out of order.
I know that God does everything in decency and order, but sometimes God’s decency and order is not the culture’s decency in order.
And if you think the two will align, then you will be stuck and stagnant.
And so the question then is not God, is it in order for this culture?
But God is it in order for what you are doing in the earth?
And if so teach me how to do it in a way that allows the mission to be accomplished.
If you’re doing something that God has called you to do, and it’s different than what the culture can respect, then God is gonna create an avenue in order for it to get done so that you don’t have the mission aboard it before it can even get off the ground.
If the mission keeps getting aborted. But you know, the mission is from God.
It’s not for us to blame those who keep aborting the mission.
It’s for us to go back to God and say God, I must have missed a step somewhere.
God take me back to the beginning of the process because I know that you didn’t lie to me when you gave it to me.
So there must have been a misstep along the way.
So Abigail, she falls to the feet of David in verse 25 continues.
It says, please let not my Lord regard this scoundrel. Come on, scoundrel. Neal for as his name is.
So is he Neal is his name? And Folly is with him.
Sometimes we are loyal and connected to Folly, but we have to even know when we have to disconnect from Folly in order for destiny to move forward, you gotta know where your limits are.
We’ve all got that one friend. We’ve all got that one relationship.
We’ve all got that one thing that we know there’s folly in it.
But you have to know where you draw the line because their folly can affect your destiny.
I’m gonna say that one time for the people in the back, their folly has the power to affect your destiny if you allow it.
So while it is cute sometimes and while it is fun, sometimes it is not cute or fun when your destiny is on the line.
And Abigail says I could deal with it as long as it wasn’t affecting me, I could deal with it as long as it wasn’t messing with my destiny.
But now it is encroaching upon my destiny.
And so now I have to make a decision based off of what I know.
She didn’t just find out that he was a scoundrel.
She knew he was a scoundrel because sometimes God gives us knowledge.
But that knowledge doesn’t have to be acted on the moment we receive it.
This is all out of order because I was supposed to give you steps.
But I’m gonna tell you right now, she knew who he was a long time before this moment.
But just because she knew, didn’t mean that she had to act on it.
And just because she knew, didn’t mean that she had to ignore it.
Sometimes the most powerful gift you can give yourself as it relates to knowing what you know, is recognizing the timing in which you release what you know, timing is everything, timing is everything.
That’s why it’s difficult. Sometimes when we receive a word from somebody because they didn’t, they had the word of knowledge, but they didn’t wait for the environment that would allow them to release what they knew.
But now Abigail’s time has come and she says, please let not my Lord regard this for as his name is.
So is he is his name and he is with him.
But I your maid servant did not see the young men of my Lord who you sent.
If you would have brought this to me, I would have handled it, handled it differently.
Now, therefore, my Lord, as the Lord lives and as your soul lives, since the Lord has held you back from coming to bloodshed and from avenging yourself with your own hand.
Now then let your enemies and those who seek harm from my Lord be as.
And now this present what your maid servant has brought to my Lord.
Let it be given to the young men who follow my Lord.
Please forgive the trespass of your maid servant for the Lord will certainly make for my Lord an enduring house because my Lord fights the battles of the Lord and evil is not found in you throughout, throughout your days.
Abigail in this moment, there’s a few things that I want to give to you so that you can understand the process, the series of actions or steps that you must take in order to get to the particular end that God has for you.
I wanna start with that particular end that God has for you because oftentimes God’s particular end is hijacked by our own desires and wishes.
God’s particular end should qualify our desires and wishes.
But oftentimes our desires and wishes are hijacked by God’s particular end.
The first thing that God knows and this is what I told you is that we were created to be made in the image of God.
And so in the process of being made in the image of God, there are some processes, some actions and some steps that we must take in order to get there.
The first thing that I want you to do is to trust what God gave you, trust what God gave you.
Now, whenever I say this, there’s always undoubtedly this comment. I don’t know what God gave me.
Some people know, some people are already equipped with.
They, they already know the gifts and the tools that God has given them.
Maybe they don’t know the environment in which they are to release them.
But without fail, there is always someone who says, I don’t know what God gave me.
Let me answer that question for you. What God gave you is breath in your lungs.
God gave you that before you roll your eyes, just hear me out because this is powerful.
God doesn’t waste his breath. So with God’s breath, there is a confidence that I am not just here because God didn’t have anything else to do.
So if I trust that God gave me his breath, how would I use the breath of God in my life?
How would I use the breath of God when I speak to others?
How would I use the breath of God when I speak to myself?
There are moments when I’m talking to myself in my own head.
It’s crazy in here sometimes is that anyone else’s testimony? If that’s you say that that’s me, that’s me.
And I have to ask myself in the middle of sometimes self deprecating thoughts.
Did that thought come from God is the use of God’s breath worthy of what I am applying it to in this moment?
Because when we live in the consciousness that this came from God and that I’m making the decision to trust what God gave me.
It changes the way that we show up in the world. Trust what God gave you. God.
I know you gave me this breath.
God, I know that you gave me this family because the word tells me that before you formed me in my mother’s womb, you knew me and they are crazy and I should have been in another family if you would have let me plan it.
But for some reason, you placed me in this family, God.
So I trust that you have placed me in this family culture and environment, even when it feels like I don’t belong, even when I feel confused about why I am here, God, you place me here.
So God make me sensitive to where you’ve placed me. Trust what God gave you right now.
This is gonna help somebody right now, regardless of whether or not you have manufactured your life or you are living in the promises and purposes of God where you are right now.
God can use. That means that God has only allowed it because God can use it.
So it doesn’t matter whether or not you need to unwind and rewind your past to fix what’s in your life.
All that matters right now is that you come to a place where you say God, I trust that what is in my world right now can be used for your glory.
So show me what to do with what it is that I have. Trust what God gave you.
And by trust, let me define trust for those of you.
Because I just wanna answer any questions any second guessing that could come.
Trusting what God gave you means that God, I trust that you can use it for your glory.
I don’t trust that it feels good. I don’t trust that.
It’s always gonna make me be the best version of myself. Sometimes I’m gonna feel weak.
Sometimes I’m gonna feel vulnerable, but I trust that it produces glory.
Oh There’s something powerful about knowing that what I am in right now can produce glory or I wouldn’t be standing in it if it can’t produce glory, God doesn’t allow it to happen.
But if God allows it to happen, it’s because it can produce glory and that particular end has glory connected to it.
And that’s why I have to be sensitive about the steps that I need to take because the steps are leading me to glory, the decisions are leading me to glory.
Do you see glory at the end of your decisions? Do you see strength at the end of your decisions?
Do you see the fruit of the spirit at the end of your decision?
Or do you just see more pride or do you just see more ego?
Do you see more confidence for you and you alone or do you see an opportunity for God to get the glory?
I was in a situation last week and all I kept saying in the midst of all of the confusion is God’s gonna get the glory out of this.
And it sounded crazy because there wasn’t any glory anywhere in it.
But I knew the lower we went down that the higher the glory was going to produce.
And I just kept prophesying God’s gonna get the glory out of this.
Sometimes you need to bring a glory reminder to your situation and you need to let your situation know I may be in process, but the process leads to glory.
I may be taken step by step, but the steps are leading to glory.
How do I know they’re leading to glory? Because the glory has already been decided as a particular end.
The glory has already been decided when I was formed in my mother’s womb.
God didn’t bring me here unless his plan was to take me from glory to glory, to glory.
And now my one job is to make sure nothing stops the glory.
I wanna talk to somebody who’s allowing some things to stop the glory.
I’m trying to get him to break up with you.
I’m trying to get you to walk away from this situation. I’m trying to get you to leave the job.
I’m trying to get you to get into therapy. Why? Because it’s blocking the glory.
The process is to get to glory. The particular end is to get to glory.
I’m trying to get to heaven and say, God, I brought a little bit of my own glory, but I know it’s nothing to compare to the glory that is here in heaven.
But I want you to know that I wasn’t just down on earth trying to make my name great.
I was in pursuit of your glory, your glory, your glory, your glory, the manifestation of your presence on earth, your glory, your glory, your glory.
And there are women who God has assigned to carry glory.
There are women who have been assigned to bring glory into situations.
And you’re wondering where is God in the midst of it?
And God says, where are you in the midst of it? Because you are the glory.
I have assigned to this situation. You are the strength that I have assigned to this situation.
You are the wisdom this situation needs, you are the strength this situation needs.
And so the process my sister is to be like abigail and be willing to break up the system and break up the culture because I gotta get us to glory.
She had her servants, her servants came to her and her servant said, Abigail Neal is going to ruin this for us all.
And Abigail said, not on my watch, not on my watch.
Will I allow folly to lead us into a dark season?
Not if I can do something about it.
You sis, you can do something about this.
You don’t have to just sit back and allow your world to fall apart.
You can do something about this.
As a matter of fact, the fact that you can even witness it, that you can even see the demise means that you’re looking at it the way that God looks at it and you can see how this can fall apart.
Now, God says use that same vision for how it can fall apart and instead see how we can build this thing up.
Abigail begins rebuilding by collecting the resources that she has within her reach.
I want you to understand that the resources that are within your reach, not the resources that are out of reach, but the resources that are within your reach.
What are those resources for somebody is simply the internet.
The internet is the resource that you need in order to get the tools and the wisdom to apply to your situation for someone else.
That resource is therapy for another, that resource is confession, repentance and worship.
The worst thing you can do is to stay silent when you can release what you know, and shift the atmosphere.
Perhaps you’ve been in a season and you’re thinking to yourself, I don’t know.
I don’t know. I don’t know. I just don’t know anymore.
I don’t know anything anymore.
I’ve been there and life gets real and it robs us of everything we know.
But then there are small whispers that remind us that we do know small things like I need to get up out of this bed and start being depressed.
I need to acknowledge that I am depressed.
I know that I’ve seen God touch and deliver other people with a similar testimony.
I know that we got to come to a place where we can acknowledge what we know.
And when we acknowledge what we know, we have to attach that particular end, how do I take what I know?
And then have an ending that looks like glory.
God won’t give you all of the steps.
It’s almost like connect the dots when you can start with one and then you can get down to that last number.
That last number is glory. Now, along the way, we gotta connect some dots and that’s where process comes in process is how we connect the dots that lead to glory.
The only way that we can connect the dots that lead to glory is if we invite God to be a part of every step, don’t ignore the small steps.
The steps that don’t seem that important.
The steps that seem small and miniscule getting up brushing your teeth, washing your face, brushing your hair seems small in the grand scheme of grief or depression.
But those small things are activating what you know, then there are certain things like I know I need to talk to someone.
I know I need to write out this idea so that I can communicate it properly.
If you don’t take anything away from this message at all.
One thing that I hope you will keep in your heart that the small things do matter.
The small knowings make room for the big knowings and those small knowings are gifts from God.
When abigail activated what she knew, step by step, resource by resource, it saved a generation.
I know life has been real.
I know things have been tough, but you are not without knowing.
The Holy Spirit is available to lead you and guide you and to give you comfort in the midst of uncertainty.
So yeah, we’ve got some steps to take and no, we won’t be able to finish them all this month, but we can take a step each day that leads us closer and closer to that particular end that God has in mind and we can do so with confidence when we know that God’s presence is with us all along the way.
I wanna pray with you.
I wanna pray that God would open your heart, open your mind and to help you to no longer feel restricted.
Mm I’m praying that God would allow you to receive the limitless nature of God.
You are never without knowing that we were meant to walk this thing out with God and God who is omniscient literally.
He knows all understands exactly who you are to be and what you are to do in this season.
Sis, you need all of yourself in this moment.
No regret, no room for that.
There’s nothing we can do to change it. If we could, we would. It’s already done.
No fear. We have no idea what the future holds and even if we did, there was nothing we could do.
We could to change it. You right here presently in this moment, settle into yourself.
That’s where all the power is. That’s where all the strength is.
That’s where the glory resides. God has gone ahead of us and behind us, but He has to be in sync with us to lead us.
Settle into yourself. If my mother was here, she would say, stop acting a fool.
Sometimes we need to hear that.
Stop talking to yourself that way, stop borrowing the enemy’s words and prophesying them over your own life.
Settle into who God has called you to be.
Hey, you, I’m talking to you. I see you.
I love you and from one sister to another.
I want you to know that you were born for this moment, born for this season, born for this opportunity.
And God’s gonna give you the steps. So I’m gonna pray.
But I need all of you into this prayer.
If you can’t bring all of yourself into this moment, maybe you should pause it for a second and just go into the closet or the bathroom or wherever you need to go to heaven in so that you can have an encounter with God.
Because I hear God saying, I wanna change the story.
You’ve been telling yourself, I want to change the words that you have been believing about yourself.
Holy Spirit, I feel your presence, I feel your love. I feel your wisdom.
I feel your strategy invading the hearts of your daughters.
We acknowledge that we are confused, we are stuck and we don’t always know which way to go.
But we acknowledge that even in the midst of the confusion, we can sense your presence, we can sense you pulling us through, we can sense you calling us.
And so we are picking up the phone and we say, hey, you God, if you’re up there, God, since you keep on calling me and you keep on nagging me, I will surrender not to the unknown but to the knowing that you have already seen me down the road.
God, I pray for every woman connected to this moment that you would help her to recognize that knowing that you are with her and knowing that she is alive may be all that she needs to know right now.
And that as she follows the bread crumbs of that truth, God, I pray that it would unlock rich wisdom, rich love, rich, comfort down on the inside of her.
And that she would allow that to wrap her up so tightly that she will not move into an environment that unwraps it.
God. When you wrap us in your wisdom, when you wrap us in your love, when you wrap us in the knowledge that you are with us, there are times when we move into environments and atmospheres that rob us of that love God.
I pray that you would make this woman an incubator for what you’re wrapping her in, that she would learn to maintain it and to keep it and to allow it to grow into blossom, we repent, we repent for allowing loss to have the final say for too long for allowing confused, to have the final say for too long.
And we say we are ready to submit to the process.
God, let it happen in us then through us and then for everything connected to us may we never forget this sequence, hoping that things will happen to us or for others before it happens in us.
First, we open our hearts and we say searches, search us and root us that we may blossom and produce fruit as only we can when we are connected with you.
Thank you for this sweet intimate time together. Allow it to stick with us in Jesus name.
Amen. Amen and Amen. Can you type Amen in the comments for me?
That’s how we seal the word we say. Amen and amen and amen.
Hey, you, I love you. And it’s been a while since we got to chat like this.
I hope you enjoyed us having brunch together.
If you miss brunch, don’t worry, you can always catch the replay on youtube.
We had some incredible times and conversations but a new season has come and we won’t be brunching, but we still will be going deeper connecting and really loving on one another in every season.
If you don’t know, maybe this is your first time uh coming to a moment, then I think it’s appropriate for you to know that hey, you is not just about us.
It’s about the women who we don’t always get to connect with.
We are in two correctional facilities right now for women and we’re hoping to grow and expand.
We’re helping our sisters get their Children back in school and get settled.
There are so many things that woman evolve wants to do for women who are often overlook and unseen if you wanna partner with us or you say, hey, this word just really blessed me and I wanna sell into it.
Instructions are on the screen if you’d like to just give a seed, there’s no specific amount, just anything that you can give to help us really continue the work that we’re doing with women evolve.
We’ve got so many incredible tools and resources that we believe will be a benefit to women everywhere who are in process of reaching that particular end.
I love you. So, so, so, so much and I will see you next month with a new word and a new hey, you just for you take care.
