Friday Night Prayers

Lord, as I go to sleep this Friday night. I ask that you help me to find my rest and peace in You. Help me to fall asleep and not to worry about the cares of the world but to take up Your yoke which is easy and Your burden that is light. I give you all my stress Lord. I place it in Your hands knowing you will take care of it for me. Thank You, for being faithful and kind to me Lord. I love You. In Jesus name, amen.

I pray that this Friday night gives to your life a greater sense of His infinite love for you. That as you go to sleep you would find refuge in His love.

I pray that the Lord will give to your heart a greater sense of His peace, today and always! May He fill you with hope as you make each decision of your life.

My God, tonight I come into your presence to rest after a long day. I place my trust in your hands, knowing that you always guide my life on the right path and always do what is best for me.

I want to continue praising and blessing you for all the good you do for me because you are always by my side, and that brings joy to my heart. Only with you can I experience the peace and serenity I long for, as you show me your love through the things I was able to accomplish today and even through those that did not go so well, for I can learn from those moments.

Thank you for the people you place in my path, for those I was able to share with, and from whom I received teachings today. I ask that your Holy Spirit cover me and be my shield to face any difficulty. May nothing catch me by surprise, but that I may always be alert and respond in the best way to whatever comes.

My Lord, I trust that you take on my difficulties as your own and remind me that you have filled me with the strength to overcome them. Blessed be your presence in my life, for each day when I return home, I realize the greatness of your majesty. Thank you, Lord, for all the adversities and difficulties that arise, for it is in those moments that I seek you and understand the purpose of your plans.

Thank you, because through those difficult events, you reveal yourself and show me your great love and power, allowing me to grow stronger and build my spirit through your love. In this prayer, I ask for your precious forgiveness. I know I have failed, offended, and hurt you. My Lord, keep away from me all attacks of the evil one that threaten to distance me from your presence and break the friendship you offer.

Do not let me cling to what causes me suffering; grant me the ability to free myself and renounce all that ties me to the past. I need the rest that only you can provide, Lord, to replenish my strength and start tomorrow with courage and enthusiasm. I trust that tonight you bless me with your protection and allow me to rest peacefully in the safety of your arms.

Help me, beloved Father, to renew my strength and cleanse my spirit of all negative feelings that prevent me from moving forward. Tonight, I ask that you do not forsake all my brothers and sisters who need you. Lord, help them to draw close to you again, to renew their hope and faith, and to overcome their difficulties.

Grant me a new dawn filled with opportunities that elevate my soul for your glory, for I want to follow you always. May every corner of this house, every person, be under your control and power tonight. Come with your powerful words and let me rest tonight, trusting that you are with me every day.

Thank you for a day full of blessings, Lord. Give me the chance to wake up tomorrow to continue praising your holy name.
