Dr. Bill Winston Daily Devotional – October 11, 2026

As you step into this new day, God has already gone ahead of you. He knows what you will face, what you are fearing, and what you are quietly hoping for but hardly dare to say out loud. You may feel stretched, tired, or even a little unsure about the future, but your heavenly Father is not shaken. Today’s devotional is meant to draw your heart back to the unshakable truth: you are not walking alone. The same God who planted visions of faith, victory, and dominion in your heart is standing beside you right now, ready to strengthen, guide, and bless you. Let this be a day where fear loses its voice and faith rises again in your spirit.

Anchored by the Word

“For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV). This simple verse is powerful because it calls you to live from a different reality than what your eyes see or your emotions feel. Walking by faith means you take God at His Word even when circumstances are screaming the opposite. It means that the doctor’s report, the bank statement, the struggle in your home, or the pressure at work do not get the final say—God does. When you choose to trust what He promised more than what you see, you step into supernatural partnership with Him. Faith is not denial of reality; it is confidence that God’s truth is greater than what you are facing right now.

Faith for the Everyday Battles

Faith is not just for church services or emergency situations; it is for Monday mornings, tight deadlines, traffic jams, and tough conversations. You exercise faith when you choose peace instead of panic, when you respond with grace instead of anger, and when you keep sowing excellence at work even when no one notices. As you move through your day, keep asking, “Lord, how can I honor You in this moment?” Invite the Holy Spirit into ordinary tasks—making breakfast, commuting, caring for your family, leading meetings, or paying bills. This is where spiritual growth happens: in the everyday spaces where you decide, again and again, to trust God more than your feelings and to speak His promises over every situation.

Prayer for Faith and Spiritual Growth

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to deepen my faith today. Strengthen my spirit so I no longer waver between fear and trust. Teach me to hear Your voice more clearly and to respond quickly when You lead. Strip away every lie that says I am not enough, that I will not make it, or that You have forgotten me. Replace those lies with bold confidence in who You are and who I am in Christ. Grow in me a hunger for Your Word and a desire to obey it. Let my faith be active, visible, and fruitful—shaping my thoughts, my choices, and my responses. May my life become a living testimony that You are faithful, powerful, and good.

Prayer for Family and Home

Lord, I lift up my family and everyone connected to my life. Cover my home with Your peace and presence. Heal broken places in our relationships—misunderstandings, past hurts, and unspoken disappointments. Restore unity, tenderness, and mutual honor. Teach us to forgive quickly and speak kindly. Protect our children and grandchildren; surround them with godly influences and wise friends. For any family member far from You, gently draw their heart back by Your love. Let our home be a place where Your name is honored, Your Word is believed, and Your joy is felt. Establish our household as a light in our neighborhood and a refuge of hope for those around us.

Prayer for Health and Healing

Father, I bring my body, mind, and emotions before You. You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. I ask You to touch every organ, every system, every cell with Your restoring power. Where there is pain, bring relief. Where there is disease, release Your healing virtue. Where there is anxiety, depression, or emotional heaviness, pour in Your comfort and peace. Help me make wise choices—about rest, nutrition, movement, and stress. Guard my mind from fear about sickness and aging, and fill me instead with confidence that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. I receive strength, vitality, and clarity today, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Work, Finances, and Provision

Lord, I surrender my work, my dreams, and my financial life to
