Creflo A. Dollar Daily Devotional – October 13, 2026
If your heart feels a little weary today, you’re not alone. Many believers across our nation are waking up with unspoken questions, quiet worries, and hidden battles. Yet right now, in this very moment, your heavenly Father is leaning in close. He sees the bills on your counter, the medical report on your fridge, the tension in your home, and the pressure at your job. And He still says, “I am with you.” Today’s devotional is an invitation to breathe again, to rest your heart in God’s goodness, and to step into this day with renewed confidence that He has not forgotten you.
Anchored by His Word
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5–6, NKJV)
These verses remind us that our understanding will always be limited, but God’s wisdom is limitless. Trusting the Lord is not pretending we don’t feel fear or confusion; it’s choosing to lean on His character more than on our circumstances. When we acknowledge God in our decisions, conversations, and even in our worries, He promises to direct our paths. That means He will guide the next step, open the right door, close the wrong one, and gently nudge us toward His best. You don’t need to see the whole map. You just need to trust the One who holds it.
Walking Through Today with Quiet Confidence
Wherever you live in the United States—city, suburb, or small town—life can feel loud and rushed. Anxiety shouts, deadlines push, and finances tug at your attention. The Lord is calling you to walk more slowly on the inside, even if your schedule is full on the outside. Take a moment today, in the car, on your lunch break, or at the kitchen sink, to whisper, “Lord, I trust You with this.” Name the specific burden: the child who’s drifting, the project that’s overdue, the relationship that’s strained. As you hand it over, expect God’s peace to meet you right where you are.
Practical step: Before you check your phone or email, pause and say, “Holy Spirit, lead my thoughts, my words, and my choices today.” This simple habit turns an ordinary day into a God-guided day.
Drawing Closer in Faith and Growth
Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my faith before You today. I admit that sometimes I struggle to believe what You’ve promised when I don’t see immediate results. But Your Word says that the just shall live by faith, not by sight. So I choose to grow. Teach me to trust You more deeply. Stir a fresh hunger in me for Your Word, for prayer, and for time in Your presence. Break off spiritual laziness and distraction. Strengthen my inner man so that I stand firm when the enemy whispers lies.
Lord, renew my mind. Help me think in line with who I am in Christ and not with who I used to be. Remind me that I am forgiven, loved, accepted, and empowered by Your Spirit. Lead me from spiritual survival into spiritual maturity. As I meditate on Your promises, let my faith rise, my voice be bold, and my hope be unshakable. Amen.
Covering Our Homes with God’s Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones before You. You see every hidden hurt, disagreement, and disappointment that has settled in our hearts. I ask You to pour out Your peace over our home like a gentle rain. Where there has been harshness, let there be kindness. Where there has been distance, let there be reconnection. Heal broken trust, soften hardened hearts, and give us the courage to apologize, forgive, and start again.
Protect our children and grandchildren from the confusion of this culture. Guard their minds, their friendships, and their choices. Give wisdom to every parent, grandparent, and caregiver reading this today. May our homes be places where Your name is honored, Your presence is welcome, and Your love is felt in every room.
Strength, Healing, and Wholeness in Body and Soul
Heavenly Father, I bring my body, mind, and emotions to You. Where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is fear and anxiety, bring calm. For those
