Christine Caine – Daily Devotional for October 25, 2026

If your heart feels a little weighed down today—by news headlines, family pressures, or quiet battles no one else can see—know this: God has not lost sight of you for a single second. He knows the story behind every sigh, every prayer whispered in the dark, every step you’re taking by faith when you’d rather just sit down and quit. Today’s devotional is an invitation to lift your eyes from what is breaking your heart to the God who is still writing your story with hope, purpose, and power. You are not forgotten. You are not behind. In Christ, you are right where grace can meet you.

Standing Firm in a Shaking World

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, ESV) In a world that feels like it keeps shifting under our feet, this verse is a solid anchor. People change. Circumstances change. Our feelings definitely change. But Jesus does not. The same Jesus who calmed storms, healed the broken, and raised the dead is the Lord who stands with you in your Monday morning meetings, your late-night worries, and your quiet prayers in the car. Because He never changes, His love for you never weakens, His promises never expire, and His faithfulness never runs out. When everything else feels unstable, you can plant both feet on this unshakable truth: Jesus is constant, steady, and utterly trustworthy.

Living Hope in Ordinary Moments

It’s easy to believe God is powerful on Sunday in church. It’s harder to remember it on Thursday when the bills are due, the kids are arguing, or your body is tired and hurting. But real spiritual growth happens in those ordinary, unfiltered moments. Today, choose one place in your life that feels especially overwhelming. Instead of replaying worst-case scenarios, pause and say, “Jesus, You are the same here as You were in Scripture—faithful, kind, and able.” Then take one small step of obedience: send the text of encouragement, forgive the offense, start the budget, make the doctor’s appointment, open your Bible instead of your social media feed. Hope grows when we act like God is who He says He is, even when our feelings haven’t caught up yet.

Anchored Faith for the Journey

Father, today we ask You to strengthen our faith. We confess that we sometimes trust what we see more than what You’ve said. Forgive our doubt and our tendency to lean on our own understanding. Holy Spirit, help us to remember that Jesus never changes, even when our circumstances do. Deepen our roots in Your Word. Teach us to run to You first, not last. Grow in us a faith that endures in disappointment, rejoices in blessing, and holds steady in the unknown. Lord, stretch our spiritual capacity so that we expect You to move, not because we are strong, but because You are. We surrender our timetables and agendas and say, “Have Your way in us, for Your glory.”

Grace Over Our Homes and Relationships

God, we lift our families, marriages, friendships, and all our relationships to You. Where there is tension, bring peace. Where there are misunderstandings, bring clarity and humility. Heal old wounds that still shape today’s conversations. Protect our homes from division, bitterness, and fear. Fill our rooms with Your presence, laughter, and compassion. Give parents wisdom and patience. Strengthen marriages with forgiveness and unity. Surround single adults, widows, and those who live alone with a deep sense of belonging in Your family. May our homes be places where people encounter Your love, feel safe to be honest, and are always pointed back to Jesus.

Healing for Body, Mind, and Soul

Lord, we place our health before You—every diagnosis, every pain, every hidden struggle. You are Jehovah Rapha, our Healer. We ask for Your healing power to touch bodies that are weary, immune systems that are weak, and minds that are heavy with anxiety or depression. Bring rest to the exhausted and strength to those in recovery. Guide doctors, nurses, and therapists with wisdom and compassion. Calm racing thoughts and speak peace over troubled hearts. Replace fear with confidence in Your care. Help us honor You with our bodies by making wise choices, seeking help when needed, and trusting that You are with us in every appointment, treatment, and sleepless night.
