A Prophetic Word That Needed Time to Mature

On January 29, just before the Prophetic Summit, I went to pray about what I should release at that gathering. I often spend extended time with the Lord before major events, seeking His direction and waiting for clarity.

During those hours of prayer, a prophetic word began to form in my spirit unlike anything I had shared before. I did not release it immediately. Instead, I sensed it needed to be stewarded, prayed over, and allowed to grow deeper within me. Over the following months, the Holy Spirit continued to bring understanding and confirmation.

Some prophetic words are not meant to be spoken instantly. They must be carried in prayer until their appointed time arrives. I believe that time has now come.

The Word I Received

Nearly eight months ago, I heard these words in my spirit and wrote them down:

“I have thousands of young Jephthahs, male and female, who will rise in 2025. They will powerfully advance My Kingdom in the earth. Though they have been rejected, isolated, and lonely, they will lead great victories for Me. Though they have known fatherlessness in experience, they will become My leaders.

A shift is coming. Their nature will change. Their thinking will change. Their destiny will change. Thousands of My young Jephthahs, male and female, though once wandering and aimless, will rise and lead My purposes with focused and determined passion.”

At the time, I knew this word was significant, but I also knew it was not yet ready to be publicly declared. So I continued praying over it.

Further Confirmation

Then on April 22, two days after Resurrection Sunday, while praying again, I heard the Lord repeat the phrase:

“I have thousands of young Jephthahs, male and female, who will rise in 2025.”

This time He added:

“Millions of prodigals will gather around Me and passionately serve My Kingdom cause.”

That second part confirmed something I have declared for years: a massive returning of prodigals is coming, and a new Jesus Movement will rise—greater than what many witnessed in the 1970s and 1980s.

I was part of that earlier movement, and it was powerful. But what is coming next will be even greater.

A Fatherless Generation Will Be Healed

The Holy Spirit then reminded me of a prophetic word released in 2023 about the Father heart of God being revealed in a new way to this generation.

The message was clear: God is reaching a generation marked by confusion, abandonment, rejection, and broken identity. He is saying:

  • You will not remain fatherless
  • You will not remain lost
  • You will not remain confused
  • You will know My love
  • You will know who you are
  • You will become sons and daughters
  • You will walk in your inheritance

God’s healing presence will restore hearts, minds, emotions, and identity. Millions will declare, “I am free. I belong in my Father’s family.”

Why Jephthah Matters Today

More recently, while reflecting on the heroes of faith listed in Hebrews 11, one name stood out to me with unusual force: Jephthah.

He is not often discussed, but Scripture includes him among the great men and women of faith. That matters.

Jephthah’s story is found in Judges chapters 10 through 12. His early life was filled with pain and rejection.

  • His mother was a prostitute
  • His identity was questioned
  • He was rejected by his brothers
  • He was denied inheritance
  • He was driven from home
  • He lived as an outcast

He became a wounded young man trying to survive without guidance, family support, or spiritual direction.

Yet hidden inside that broken young man was leadership, courage, strategy, and greatness.

Rejected but Chosen

As a teenager, Jephthah joined a band of troubled men. Though the path was wrong, his leadership ability emerged quickly. Even in brokenness, the gifts inside him could not be buried.

Years later, when his homeland faced destruction, the very people who rejected him came asking for help.

Jephthah then faced a defining moment. Would he remain trapped in his past, or step into a new future?

He chose transformation.

He accepted a new assignment, led an army, and delivered his people through wisdom, courage, and strength. The rejected outcast became a national leader.

The Prophetic Picture for 2025

This is why the Lord highlighted Jephthah.

There are thousands of young people today carrying deep wounds:

  • rejected by family
  • confused about identity
  • lonely and isolated
  • angry and wandering
  • gifted but directionless
  • hungry for belonging

The world may label them broken, but God sees leaders inside them.

What others call damaged, God calls chosen.

What society calls lost, God calls destined.

What people discard, God raises up.

A Great Shift Is Coming

The Lord says a shift is coming.

Many who once lived without direction will suddenly find purpose. Those who felt unseen will become bold voices. Those marked by pain will carry healing. Those who wandered will lead with passion and conviction.

God will reveal His Father heart to them. He will restore identity. He will break the lies of abandonment. He will turn prodigals into reformers and outcasts into Kingdom leaders.
