Pastor Greg Laurie Daily Devotional – October 27, 2026

If your heart feels a little weary today, you are not alone. Across the United States and around the world, believers are carrying quiet burdens—concerns about children, pressure at work, health questions that keep you awake at night, and a longing to see God move in a fresh way. As you read this daily prayer devotional, pause for a moment and breathe. The Lord sees you. He knows every detail of your story, and He has not forgotten you. Today’s devotional is an invitation to rest your heart in the faithfulness of God, to trade anxiety for trust, and to step into this day with renewed hope in Christ.

Anchored in a Promise

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 NKJV)

In a world that shifts beneath our feet, this verse stands like a rock in the middle of a storm. Everything around us seems to change—jobs, health, relationships, politics, even the culture we live in. But Jesus does not change. The same Savior who walked the dusty roads of Galilee, who healed the sick and calmed storms, who forgave sinners and raised the dead—that Jesus is your Savior today. His character is steady, His love unwavering, His power undiminished. When you don’t know what will happen next week or even tomorrow, you can build your confidence on the unchanging heart of Christ.

Walking by Faith in a Shaking World

Trusting God doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine; it means bringing everything that is not fine straight to Him. Faith is not a feeling; it’s a decision to lean your full weight on God’s promises when your emotions are all over the place. Today, choose simple steps of trust: whisper a prayer before responding to an email, open your Bible instead of scrolling social media, speak words of blessing instead of complaint. When fear starts to rise, answer it with the truth of God’s Word. Tell your heart, “Jesus has not changed. His goodness has not changed. His plans for me have not changed.” Over time, small daily choices like these build a deep, steady confidence in the Lord.

Prayer for Growing Faith and Deeper Trust

Lord Jesus, thank You that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Grow my faith in You today. Where my trust is weak, strengthen it. Where doubt has crept in, drive it out with Your truth. Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight, to cling to Your Word more tightly than I cling to my worries. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see God’s hand at work in the ordinary moments of this day. Help me surrender my timetable, my expectations, and my fears, and let Your peace rule in my heart. I choose to trust that You are leading me, even when I can’t see the whole path ahead.

Prayer for Family, Home, and Relationships

Father, I bring my family and closest relationships to You. You know every joy and every hidden tension in my home. I ask You to cover my loved ones with Your grace. Heal misunderstandings, soften hard hearts, and restore broken connections. Let our home be a place where Your presence is welcome, where forgiveness flows freely, and where Your Word is honored. Guard our marriages, protect our children and grandchildren, and comfort those who feel alone. Teach us to speak life, to listen with patience, and to love each other the way You have loved us in Christ.

Prayer for Health, Strength, and Healing

Lord, You know every ache, diagnosis, and unspoken fear about my health. I place my body, mind, and emotions in Your hands. Strengthen me where I am weak. Bring healing where there is sickness, relief where there is pain, and clarity where there is confusion. Calm anxious thoughts and quiet the “what ifs” that race through my mind. Help me to honor You with wise choices, rest when I need it, and courage when the road is hard. Remind me that my life is in Your hands and that nothing can separate me from Your love in Christ Jesus.

Prayer for Work, Finances, and Daily Provision

Provider God, You see every bill, every deadline, every responsibility I carry. I surrender my work, my career path, and my finances to You. Give me favor and integrity on the job. Open the right doors and close the wrong ones. For those in seasons of unemployment
