Michael Todd Daily Devotional – October 10, 2026

As you step into this day, God already sees every detail you cannot. He knows the pressures you feel, the questions you keep tucked away, and the quiet hopes you barely dare to speak. You might be standing between what God promised and what you can currently see, and that space can feel confusing and lonely. But you are not abandoned in the middle. The Lord is inviting you to trust Him again today, to believe that He is working even when the evidence looks thin. This devotional is a gentle reminder that your story is still unfolding, and the Author is faithful. Let today be a fresh start—another chance to lean into God’s heart, lift your expectations, and allow Him to write hope over your life once more.

Anchored by Promise in the Middle of the Process

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV) This verse is more than a Christian slogan; it is a roadmap for days like today. Walking by faith means you move forward based on what God said, not on what your eyes see. The middle of the journey can feel messy—plans change, doors close, and prayers seem unanswered. Yet God’s Word reminds you that your steps are not random; they are guided. Faith is choosing to trust that God is working behind the scenes, arranging things for your good and His glory, even when you do not understand the timing. When your sight says, “Nothing is happening,” faith whispers, “God is still moving.”

Living Out Faith in the Everyday Moments

Faith is not only for Sunday services or emotional moments at the altar; it is for Monday morning traffic, late-night bills, parenting challenges, and quiet commutes. Today, choose one area where you feel stuck—maybe your marriage, your finances, or your own self-worth—and consciously surrender it to God. Speak His promises over that situation. Replace “I don’t see how this can change” with “God, I trust You to do what I cannot.” Take a practical step of obedience: send the apology text, update the résumé, schedule the doctor’s appointment, join the small group. Faith grows when you align your decisions with what you believe God has said, even when your emotions lag behind. God is far more interested in your direction than your perfection; keep moving toward Him.

Drawing Near in Faith and Spiritual Growth

Father, in Jesus’ name, I ask You to stir fresh faith in my heart today. Where I have grown weary, revive me. Where I have doubted, steady me. I confess that I do not understand everything You are doing, but I choose to trust that You are good and that Your plans for me are full of hope. Grow my hunger for Your Word, deepen my prayer life, and sharpen my ability to hear Your voice. Help me to desire Your presence more than quick fixes or easy answers. Shape my character, cleanse my motives, and align my heart with Yours. Teach me to walk by faith when it is hard, to obey when it costs me something, and to worship when I feel nothing. Let today mark a new level of intimacy with You.

Grace for Home, Family, and Relationships

Lord, I bring my family and relationships before You. Cover my home with Your peace and presence. Heal broken communication, soften hard hearts, and mend strained connections. Protect my loved ones physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Give us unity in place of division, understanding instead of assumptions, and compassion instead of criticism. For spouses, release grace to love sacrificially. For parents, grant wisdom, patience, and discernment. For children, surround them with godly influences and guard their hearts and minds. Where there is tension, bring reconciliation. Where there is distance, create divine opportunities to reconnect. Let my home become a place where Your love is felt, Your name is honored, and Your joy is evident.

Strength for Body, Mind, and Soul

Jesus, You are the Healer, and I place my health and emotional well-being in Your hands. Touch every place of pain, sickness, and weakness in my body. Give doctors and caregivers wisdom, and bless every treatment, medication, and effort toward healing. Calm my anxious thoughts and steady my emotions. Break the power of fear, depression, and torment over my mind. Fill me with Your peace that goes beyond understanding. Help me make wise choices—about rest, nutrition, exercise, and boundaries. Show me how to care for my body as Your temple. Renew my strength where I
