“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3, NIV) This verse is not a nice theory; it is a promise. God says that when we fix our minds on Him—above the news, the bills, the doctor’s report, the conflict at home—He will guard our hearts with His peace. “Perfect peace” does not mean your circumstances are perfect. It means you are held, centered, and secure in the middle of imperfection. Trust is the path. When you choose to say, “Lord, I do not see the whole picture, but I trust You,” heaven leans in, and peace begins to rise where anxiety once ruled.
