The Spirit’s Power of ‘I Can’

Heavenly Unlimitations “Shamayim,” is Hebrew for “heaven,” but it doesn’t really mean that exactly. It has an “im” at the end, which means it’s plural. Heaven is plural, because there’s no end to it, to the blessings; to the eternal. It’s forever, infinity, it’s amazing. But the word for “earth– erets,” has no “im” because it’s singular. The things of earth are finite; limited. They have a beginning and ending point in space and time. If you live with your heart wrapped up in earthly things, you’ll always be running on empty or in short supply, because it’s limited. But if you live by the heavenly, by His Spirit, by faith, your life will become unlimited because there’s no end. You’ll be filled to overflowing and unlimited. Only an open heart with faith can contain that which has no end. Paul said, “We live by faith, not by sight…” The things that are seen are temporary, but that which isn’t, is eternal. So stop being limited by the earth. Live by the heavenly, by His Spirit, and you’ll have no limitations. The one who lives in them cannot be bound.
Besides said you shall be clothed with power from on high.
This is the promise god gave to his disciples and thus to you. Note the connections between the words.
Spirit power. Note the connection of the word. Spirit and power, they go together.
The Bible says that that every true believer has the spirit of god.
Now there are different manifestations and anointing in filling, that’s another story.
But every believer has the spirit of god, or you’re not a believer, or you’re not born again.
Born in, you have the spirit of god, that means you have the power of god in some way.
You are to live. That means you’re to live your life in the power of god.
In the original Greek, many of you know, the word here is for power is dunamis. Say it dunamis.
Of course, we get dynamite from that.
Dynamic, Dynamo, and dynamists are dunamis here can speak of can mean force, strength, miraculous power.
But it comes from the Greek root word, which is dunamah He, which can be understood as interesting.
I can. Can. The power of can.
Even the English word for power can be defined as the ability to do something.
Number on the ability, capacity, capability, competence, potential.
We don’t often think about that when we’re saying what is the power of the spirit?
Compidence, uh, potential capacity ability. If you’re born again, you have, and you are to live by the power of the spirit.
It is for you, therefore, there is a power for you to become able, capable, competent, pot have potential and fulfill the potential you have.
You are you are to be able to do everything god has called in the Bible for you to do.
Now when people think of such things, they, you know, think of ability. They often think of what you are.
You all have talent, I have ability. I’m smart. Your body is strong. So I can you can do this.
Your mind is sharp, you can think this, but this is altogether different in power.
Because it’s not speaking of who you are and your and what you have, or your past and your present, or it’s the spirit.
So it’s something that is altogether. It’s something that’s just given to you as a gift.
Something that comes upon you, something that grows in you, something.
So listen, the spirit gives you power to become able to do what you weren’t able to do before.
The spirit, the anointed gives you power to do what you can’t do on your own.
But you can do now because you have the spirit.
What you can’t do, what you could never do By the spirit, you can.
The power of you can. I can. Now think of what that means.
Duna Mahi can It means it means you can’t. The par think of the scripture.
I can do all things through Messiah whose strengthens me. That’s all linked together.
It’s no accident that the coming of the spirit opens up the book that we call acts because the spirit gave them power to acts.
Sometimes the it’s called Book of Acts called the acts of the apostles.
Sometimes it’s called the acts of the spirit. It all becomes 1 in the spirit.
The spirit gives you the power to act and do what you could never do before.
Here’s what we’re gonna do. We’re gonna look at the book of acts as to how this power, this dunamis, of the spirit was manifested and take it into our lives.
