Thankful Wednesday Blessings

Father God, I come to You today, in the name of Jesus, and ask You to help me stay focused on my purpose and to live selflessly. You are the best possible example to follow. Thank You, God, amen.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline. – 2 Timothy 1:7
Lord, this Wednesday morning I ask that I would not walk in fear. That I would not be subject to the fear of man, but I would walk in Your power, love, and self-discipline. Help me Lord not to partner with the lies of the enemy that would make be anxious or worry about situations.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My God, I thank you because upon waking, I once again feel your protection and I feel safe in your presence.
Lord, thank you for being here by my side when I open my eyes and prepare to begin a new day.
I want to praise you every moment, so those around me will have more desire to discover you because my testimony speaks many wonderful things about you.
I ask you, my Lord, to grant me patience and tolerance to face everything that threatens to take away my peace.
I also pray for all the people who are abandoned today, that you help them find the peace their souls long for.
Accompany them on this transitional journey where they will be able to find you.
I place in your hands every word, every emotion, every step I take today, so that you give meaning to my life and in your love, I find my salvation.
Do not let me get distracted by the relativity of the world, do not let me fall into the lies and superficiality that surround me, but rather live always with my gaze fixed on you, with the trust that in you I will find fulfillment.
Let their families understand that this life is only temporary, and that after it, a life by your side awaits us.
Everything I am, I owe to you because you have arranged everything to love me, to fill me with yourself so that I can be happy.

Lord, what joy to wake up in your presence.
I know that being able to see the sunlight in this new dawn is your work.
Today I want to feel that it is you who drives me to act and to be willing, cheerful, firm, and serene in the face of whatever may arise.
Give me the courage to endure adversities, give me the strength of your spirit not to falter in the face of problems, but to have confidence in you, to overcome in you, with your name on my lips and your love in my heart.
I ask you for strength and light to accept that not everything can be as I want, to fight to change what I can, and to accept what is part of me.
Thank you for holding me in your hands and for giving me the security, stability, and serenity I need to move forward.
Thank you because I know you are here with me, hearing my prayers and always responding with love.
Only you have words of eternal life and salvation.
Today I want to defend your word with confidence and firmness.
I want to be happy, and I want to share my happiness with the whole world.
I know very well that this is the only way to achieve true happiness.
I ask you to fill me with your love, my Lord, so that my foot does not stumble and I can advance today towards holiness.
Amen.

I will make a call or visit a family member or friend whom I haven’t seen in a while, strengthening our bonds of love and friendship.
Rest only in God, my soul, because he is my hope, only he is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, I will not waver.
Psalm 61. May the Lord bless us on this day.
