Thankful Monday Blessings
A prayer for the new week: Dear God, thank You for this day. Thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning. As I step into this new week, I don’t have to look very far to see Your goodness in my life. Even in the middle of difficult situations, You show Yourself faithful, ever-present, and trustworthy. I’ve seen with my own eyes that You are good because I have cried out to You for help, and You saved me. Thank You for being with me through everything. With You, nothing is impossible. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. -Isaiah 60:1
Heavenly Father, I lift up this Monday morning to you. I ask that you would guide my time of prayer and draw me closer to you. Help this day to be more like your son, Jesus. Give me love and compassion for those I will see and talk with today. That I may be your hands and feet to this world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Eternal Father, thank you for this beautiful morning, where once again I can witness your wonderful presence in the perfection of your creation. Today, I approach you with gratitude, a heart full of hope, knowing that everything you place in my path is part of your perfect plan. Thank you for the opportunities I know you will grant me today to find you in the midst of daily circumstances and to fulfill your holy will.
As I wake, I feel your tenderness and protection wrapping around me, filling me with security. I praise you because you have set your gaze upon me, chosen me to walk your paths, and to experience your love in a unique and personal way. You have defended me, supported me with your mighty hand, and that fills me with confidence and hope. You are my God, and this morning, I want to surrender my life, my heart, and all that I am to you. I trust in you, Lord, with all my soul, and in you, I place all my hopes.
This certainty motivates me not to give up but to keep fighting, knowing you walk beside me. Today, I entrust to you all the people I love, my dear ones who mean so much to me. Please care for them, protect them, and fill them with your peace. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to learn from them every day to be a better person—more integral, compassionate, and more willing to open my heart to you. I know you are always present, knocking at my heart, waiting for me to open the door so you can fill me with the goodness that only you can provide.
Help me understand that your timing is perfect. When I ask for something and do not receive it immediately, it’s because you know the right time has not yet come. Give me patience and faith to wait for your timing, trusting that your plans are better than mine. Father God, I ask you for wisdom to organize my time today. I desire your guidance in everything I do. Give me strength and the will to say no to what I should avoid and to distance myself from negativity.
Lord and Holy Father, I humbly ask for all families, especially those suffering from poverty and hardship. May they soon find a solid source of sustenance and progress in their happiness. My Lord, today I place myself in your hands with humility and trust, reflecting on your words of love and freedom. I ask you to make me feel chosen, your possession, so that this day may be filled with blessings. Renew my life, Lord, fill me with your Spirit, and help me be a beacon of your love to others. I entrust all my plans to you, knowing that in you, I find the wisdom and guidance I need to fulfill them.
Thank you for always being by my side, for never leaving me alone, for being my refuge and strength at all times. Blessed Father, I place this new day in your hands, trusting that I will walk under your protection and act according to your will.
Amen.
Today, I will visit the house of God to pray for my brothers and sisters who seek dignified work to support their lives and families.
“The Lord is great in Zion; exalted above all nations. Let them acknowledge your great and awesome name; He is holy.” (Psalm 98)
May the Lord bless us on this day. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
