Steven Furtick Daily Devotional – June 01, 2026
If this day feels heavy before it even begins, you are not alone. Maybe you woke up with questions swirling in your mind about your future, your family, your health, or your finances. Or maybe everything looks fine on the outside, yet inside you feel worn thin. Today’s devotional is an invitation to breathe again, to remember that your story is still in the hands of a God who is not intimidated by your struggles. As you read and pray, let your heart lean in. God is closer than your next breath, and He is already at work in the details you cannot see.
Anchored By A Greater Promise
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Paul wrote these words from prison, yet he spoke with unshakable confidence. His circumstances were confined, but his faith was not. Philippians 1:6 reminds you that God is not a quitter. He doesn’t abandon projects halfway through. If He started a work in your heart, your calling, your family, or your healing, He will carry it on. That doesn’t mean every day feels victorious. It means every day is held by a faithful Savior who finishes what He starts, even when you feel stuck, delayed, or discouraged.
Faith For The In-Between Moments
Most of life happens between the promise and the fulfillment. The in-between can make you restless, impatient, or afraid. Today, instead of trying to control everything, you can choose to cooperate with what God is doing within you. When worry shows up, turn it into prayer. When fear whispers, answer it with Scripture. Practically, this might look like pausing at lunchtime to thank God for one specific thing He has done, or writing down a verse and reading it out loud before bed. As you build small, consistent habits of trust, your heart starts to align with God’s perspective. You learn to walk by faith, not by feelings.
Drawing Near In Faith And Trust
Lord, I bring You my faith, even where it feels fragile. Strengthen what is weak in me. I surrender the urge to fix everything on my own. Teach me to trust Your timing and Your wisdom. Grow in me a deeper hunger for Your presence. Help me to love Your Word, to listen for Your voice, and to obey quickly when You lead. As I step into today, I choose to believe that You are working all things for my good and for Your glory, even when I don’t understand the process. Let this be a day marked by fresh faith, renewed hope, and quiet confidence in Your unfailing love.
Grace Over My Home And Relationships
Father, I lift my family and loved ones to You. Cover our home with Your peace. Heal broken conversations, soften hard hearts, and restore what distance and disappointment have damaged. Where there is tension, bring understanding. Where there is silence, open doors for honest, loving communication. Protect marriages, strengthen parents, and comfort those who feel alone. Let Your presence be tangible in our living rooms, kitchens, and late-night talks. Help us to forgive quickly, encourage freely, and honor one another as gifts from You. May our homes reflect the grace and unity that come from Your Spirit.
Wholeness For Body, Mind, And Soul
Lord Jesus, You are the Healer. I bring every ache, diagnosis, and hidden fear about health to You. Touch my body with Your restoring power. Give wisdom to every doctor, nurse, and caretaker involved. For the stress that keeps me up at night, pour out Your peace. For the anxiety and sadness that linger in the corners of my mind, shine Your light. Replace exhaustion with renewed strength and confusion with clarity. Help me honor You with my body by making wise choices, resting well, and paying attention to what my soul needs. Let Your healing flow through every part of my being.
Purpose In Work And Provision
God, I place my work, career, studies, and finances into Your hands. For the job that feels overwhelming, give me focus, creativity, and joy. For the job I don’t yet have, open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Provide opportunities that align with my gifts and Your plan. Calm my fears about money and remind me that You are my source, not a paycheck. Teach me to steward what I
