Prayer of the Day:

“Father, thank You that You are refining my life with fire and using the pressure of challenges to make me stronger and grow my character. Thank You that every test of my faith is preparing me to overcome and persevere, to go higher and increase. I believe that I am coming out better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Almighty Father,
who in your great mercy gladdened the disciples
with the sight of the risen Lord:
give us such knowledge of his presence with us,
that we may be strengthened and sustained by his risen life
and serve you continually in righteousness and truth;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen.

Morning Prayer for today, Monday April 15, 2024

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God of my life, blessed and praised be in this beautiful morning that announces your greatness and majesty. I wake up knowing that you call me to be with you, that you invite me to be by your side. Thank you for giving me the sensitivity to find you in everything that exists, as it is a reflection of your absolute perfection. Only you, God of immense greatness and majesty, can draw such beautiful lines on the canvas of life. This morning, I implore you to open your hand and fill me with all the blessings I need to move forward because I know you give me the tools I need to face the challenges that will arise in my day. Thank you for blessing me with your love. I place everything I will live today in your hands. Thank you for the moments lived throughout my life, and also for the teachings and lessons that allow me to grow as a human being. Please never leave me alone and stay by my side until the end of my days, as your word says. Fill my being in such a way that everything in me is joy, happiness, and peace. Remove all feelings that separate me from your grace, good Father. I am certain that even though difficulties may arise today, I will have plenty of opportunities to recognize your mercy in action.

I ask you to be my compass, to give me the ability to discern between good and evil, and to grant me the gift of wisdom that comes from your Holy Spirit.

I want to overcome every difficulty and not be defeated by any situation, so I ask you to infuse your strength into my heart to overcome any impulse that tries to dominate me. Fill my entire being with you so that there is nothing in me that is not yours. I do not want there to be space for sin or temptation. I am standing firm and secure in your presence, convinced that with you I can achieve everything. My God, do not allow me to fall into the clutches of the enemy today. Do not let me stray from your side. I fully entrust myself to you today so that I can emerge victorious from the temptations that assail me because I do not want to fall into sin again. Eternal Lord, I beg you to give me the light of your Holy Spirit so that I can act wisely and make decisions that always lead me towards you.

Thank you for covering me with your saving grace, which makes me strong and enables me to face all the attacks of the enemy because with you by my side, with your Spirit as my shield and your word as my sword, I can overcome every temptation. You are simply admirable and faithful, and I praise and adore you for that and for everything you give me daily. Fill every part of my being with your Holy Spirit so that everything old and bad may be renewed and healed. I want to be better every day to live giving honor and glory to you, who are a holy and mysterious God. I entrust this day to you to live it in your peace because you, my Lord, will give me the serenity and tranquility I need. Amen.

Today, I will not hesitate to help others who are facing difficulties, without expecting anything in return, only seeking to create true bonds of fraternity. The eyes of the Lord are upon his faithful ones, those who hope in his mercy to deliver their lives from death and revive them in times of hunger. Psalm thirty-two. May the Lord bless us on this day. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
