How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

Thank you for joining me today as we dive into the powerful truths of the Bible. In this podcast, we’ll be exploring the book of Jude—a short yet profound message with eternal significance. Although it contains only one chapter, it carries a message for believers that is especially relevant in these days of the final harvest.

I believe we are stepping into a crucial period where God’s heart yearns to gather His children, preparing them for eternal fellowship at His table. In these coming years, countless souls will be drawn into God’s kingdom. Let’s turn to Jude 1:21-23, where this theme comes alive:

  • “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference. And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

This passage emphasizes the urgency of our mission. As believers, we are called to reach into the spiritual fires that threaten to consume souls and pull people into God’s saving grace. But this task isn’t without challenges—it requires supernatural strength and courage, as our human nature is not equipped to endure such a fiery rescue.

The Supernatural Call to Rescue Souls

When we think about fire in a physical sense, we know it leaves scars and can cause lasting damage. Similarly, stepping into spiritual fire—representing sin, destruction, and death—demands reliance on God’s supernatural power. Jude’s message reminds us that hell was never meant for people; it was created for the devil and his angels. Yet, through sin, many souls have been ensnared by its flames.

However, we have hope! Scripture promises that God will ultimately purify the earth by fire, creating a new heaven, a new earth, and the New Jerusalem (as described in Revelation). Until that day, our mission is clear: to rescue as many as possible from the fire of sin, through God’s strength.

Trials Prepare Us for the Mission

Peter provides further insight into the role of fiery trials in preparing us for this mission. In 1 Peter 4:12-13, he writes:

  • “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.”

Peter speaks from experience. He endured many hardships yet found joy in participating in Christ’s sufferings. As believers, we should not be surprised when we face fiery trials; rather, we should recognize them as opportunities for refining and preparation.

A Final Word

As we embrace this mission, let’s remember the heart of God: to save, to restore, and to redeem. Whether through compassion or through the fear of eternal separation from God, we are called to make a difference in the lives of others.

The fire may seem overwhelming, but with the supernatural power of God, we can reach into it, pull souls to safety, and rejoice in the harvest that awaits.

Stay strong in faith, and remember that trials are not meant to destroy you—they are meant to prepare you for the incredible work of the kingdom. Together, let’s commit to this high calling and bring glory to God through every step of the journey.
