Legislating Your Success | Dr. Bill Winston Sermon
SCRIPTURE:
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. (Ephesians 5:1 NKJV)
DEVOTIONAL:
Before we decree, we must first see. We cannot legislate what we have not looked upon within our spirits, because everything that manifests externally begins as an internally perceived reality. Or, as one man of God said, everything is created twice—first in the spiritual realm and then in this physical world.
Consider this question: Where are the things that God speaks into existence before He speaks them? The answer is, they are in God. When He speaks them, He manifests them externally. We operate the same way—not from the outside in, but from the inside out. This is why Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21). It is inside us, but it is not meant to stay inside of us! We speak it forth, and the kingdom manifests in the earth.
God created the world from an invisible substance called faith. He saw it in the external realm and spoke it into existence: “And God said, Let there be light and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). God spoke what He saw, and what He saw came forth by what He said. Likewise we, as children of God, imitate our Father. We bring forth what we see by speaking in faith.
PRAYER:
Dear God, give me supernatural eyesight that I might see in my spirit the things You have for me, the divine assignments and plans You have purposed for my life. As I see internally, I will speak by faith those things I see and believe they will manifest in the earth realm. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
