A Word in Due Season

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14, NIV) At the edge of the Red Sea, Israel saw only impossibility—water in front of them, an army behind them. But God saw a pathway no one else could see. This verse is not a call to passivity; it is a call to trust. Being still means refusing to let fear rule your decisions and your emotions. It means choosing to believe that God is actively working, even when your senses tell you nothing is happening. Today, God is whispering the same assurance—He will fight for you, even in the battles you do not understand.

Make our households places of worship, safety, and kindness, where Your name is honored and Your love is clearly seen.

Heavenly Father, I lift up my body, mind, and emotions to You. You are the God who heals and restores. For every area of pain, sickness, fatigue, or weakness, I ask for Your healing touch. Guard my thoughts from fear and hopelessness. Replace stress with Your supernatural peace. Strengthen my immune system, renew my energy, and calm my nervous heart. Where there are medical needs, guide doctors and caregivers with wisdom and skill. Let my body be a temple of Your Holy Spirit, filled with life, strength, and Your sustaining power.

Lord, You know the pressures of daily life—bills, deadlines, responsibilities, and decisions. I bring my job, my business, my studies, and my financial situation to You. Open doors no one can shut. Close doors that are not from You. Provide opportunities that align with Your will, and give me excellence, integrity, and favor wherever I serve. Lift the weight of financial worry from my shoulders and teach me to steward what You’ve given with wisdom and generosity. You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider. I choose to trust that You will supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.</
