Joel Osteen Daily Devotional – October 25, 2026: Standing Strong in the Middle

If you’re reading this today, you might be right in the middle of something you didn’t plan—a challenge, a delay, a disappointment, or a season that feels longer than you ever expected. You’ve prayed, you’ve believed, and yet the answer seems slow in coming. Deep down, you want to trust God, but your heart feels tired. This devotional is for you. Today, let the Holy Spirit remind you that God does some of His greatest work not just at the beginning or the end, but in the middle—when you can’t see the outcome, yet you choose to believe anyway. You are not abandoned, you are not forgotten, and you are not stuck. You are being prepared.

Strength for the Waiting Season

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6, NIV) This verse reminds us that God is not a halfway God. He doesn’t start a work in your life and then walk away when it gets hard. The dream He placed in your heart, the healing He promised, the restoration you’re believing for—He is committed to finishing it. The enemy whispers, “Nothing is changing. Give up.” But Scripture answers back, “God is still working.” Even when you don’t feel it, God is aligning people, opening doors, softening hearts, and arranging the details. Your confidence is not in what you see, but in who He is—faithful, steady, and unchanging.

Living Hope-Filled in Real Life

Hope is not pretending everything is fine. Hope is choosing to believe that God is good even when everything isn’t fine yet. Today, you can practice hope in simple, practical ways. When anxiety comes, pause and whisper, “Lord, I trust You with this.” When you feel behind, remind yourself, “My times are in Your hands.” When the news is negative and your circumstances feel heavy, turn your heart back to God’s promises. Open your Bible or recall a verse you know by heart. Write down one thing God has already brought you through. Speak life over your day: “I am not alone. God is with me. Something good is on the way.” These small choices shift your focus from problems to the Presence of God, and that’s where real strength rises.

Prayer for Faith and Spiritual Growth

Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my faith journey before You. Where my faith has grown weary, breathe fresh life into it. Help me to trust Your timing and Your ways, even when I do not understand. Grow me deeper, not just wider—deeper in character, deeper in surrender, deeper in love for You and for people. Guard my heart from bitterness, discouragement, and unbelief. Let this season draw me closer to You instead of pulling me away. Teach me to hear Your voice, to value Your Word, and to obey quickly. May my faith not rest in what I see or feel, but in the unshakable truth that You are good and You are for me. Strengthen my spiritual walk so that when the storms come, I will still be standing, rooted in Christ.

Prayer for Family and Relationships

Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. Step into every home represented here with Your peace, unity, and healing. Where there is tension, bring calm. Where there is distance, bring restoration. Heal broken relationships between spouses, parents, and children. Cover our families with Your wisdom and love. Let our homes be places of safety and kindness, where Your presence is welcome and Your name is honored. Help us forgive quickly, speak gently, and support one another with grace. Surround our loved ones with godly friends, mentors, and influences. Let Your favor rest on our marriages, our children, our extended family, and every relationship connected to us.

Prayer for Health and Emotional Wholeness

Heavenly Father, I bring my body, mind, and emotions to You. For anyone facing sickness or pain today, let Your healing power flow from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. Guide doctors, nurses, and caregivers with wisdom. Strengthen immune systems and restore what has been damaged. For those battling anxiety, depression, or fear, send Your comforting presence. Calm racing thoughts. Replace heaviness with Your joy and despair with hope. Remind us that our bodies are temples of the
