2 Corinthians 4:6-7 and the Increasing Glory of God
In 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NKJV), Scripture says:
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.”
The Amplified Bible explains that God has placed His light inside us so we can know the glory revealed in Jesus Christ. Though we are like fragile clay jars, we carry a priceless treasure. This shows that true power comes from God, not from ourselves.
God Is Releasing Greater Glory
We are living in a season of ever-increasing glory ministered by the Holy Spirit. When God releases greater measures of His glory, extraordinary things begin to happen. His creative power is activated, and the Holy Spirit births what He has been preparing for years—both in individual lives and in the church.
These are some of the prophetic signs of this season:
- Greater deliverance and supernatural breakthroughs
- Promises fulfilled at accelerated speed
- Transformation and reformation increasing worldwide
- Mass healings, miracles, and signs in the church
- Spiritual leaders purified and renewed
- New generations of leaders rising up
- Increased angelic activity and divine assistance
- Rapid expansion of God’s Kingdom
- Greater influence and authority for the church
- Worldwide revival through the preaching of the Gospel
Transformed From Glory to Glory
2 Corinthians 3:18 says we are transformed into the image of Christ from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.
As we behold Him, the Holy Spirit changes us. We become stronger containers of His presence. We are not meant to stay the same we are called to grow in glory, power, and spiritual maturity.
The more we host His presence, the more room we make for Him in our lives.
Carriers of God’s Presence
Believers are called to carry the presence of Jesus into the world. We are mirrors that reflect His light. We are vessels filled with His love, His authority, and His power.
This generation has the opportunity to reveal Christ in ways never seen before not because of our greatness, but because of His glory increasing within us.
Presence Evangelism
There are moments when the presence of God becomes so strong that people are drawn to Jesus without a word being spoken.
History gives us examples:
- Smith Wigglesworth once sat silently on a train, and a man nearby fell to his knees and asked for salvation.
- Mother Teresa carried such spiritual weight that people around her were convicted and moved to tears.
- Peter became so full of God’s presence that even his shadow brought healing.
- Stephen shone with heavenly glory as he stood for Christ.
This is the kind of glory-filled witness God is raising again.
The Church’s Future Is Glory
The destiny of the true church is not weakness, emptiness, or irrelevance. Our future is to become filled carriers of Christ’s presence at greater levels than ever before.
God is calling His people to create an atmosphere for His presence, to seek Him deeply, and to become heavy with His glory.
When Jesus is lifted high, people will be drawn to Him. Broken hearts will be healed. Lives will be changed. Revival will spread.
A Call for Today
This is the hour to seek the Lord more than ever before. Invite His presence into your life. Make room for the Holy Spirit. Let Him transform you from glory to glory.
You were created to carry His treasure, reflect His light, and reveal His Kingdom to the world.
