Dear In Touch Family, this morning at the age of 90, God called our beloved pastor, Dr. Charles Frazier Stanley, home to heaven. Dr. Stanley lived a faithful life of obedience, dedicated to teaching others how to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Now he is receiving the joy of his soul—seeing his Savior face-to-face.

Dr. Charles Frazier Stanley was a man of great faith, who dedicated his life to serving and teaching others about Jesus Christ. He was a beloved pastor, author, and televangelist who impacted millions of lives with his teachings and messages of hope.

Dr. Stanley was born on September 25, 1932, in Dry Fork, Virginia. He grew up in a Christian family and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 12. From an early age, he felt a calling to serve God and dedicated his life to studying and preaching the Word of God.

Dr. Stanley attended the University of Richmond, where he earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He then went on to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Theology degree from Luther Rice Seminary.

In 1971, Dr. Stanley became the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia, where he served for over 50 years until his passing. Under his leadership, the church grew to become one of the largest and most influential churches in the country, with over 13,000 members.

Dr. Stanley was also the founder of In Touch Ministries, a global ministry that reaches millions of people through television, radio, and the internet. Through his teachings, he encouraged people to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and live a life of obedience and faith.

One of the hallmarks of Dr. Stanley’s teachings was his emphasis on the importance of prayer. He believed that prayer was the key to unlocking the power of God in our lives and that it was essential for every believer to have a consistent and dedicated prayer life.

  4. Dear Dr. Stanley’s family and special friends. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take. But the number of moments that take our breath away. I remember many sermons that Dr. Stanley would preach and teach us and they would always take my breath away, because of the knowledge and the love that he had for God the Father and the people that he would Minister all over the world. I dearly enjoyed my daily devotionals that I received I have been a long time member of Dr. Stanley’s teachings. The memory of Dr. Stanley will always be in my heart and I will continue to tell others about his preaching and teaching of the word of God. In Jesus name amen. ❤️🌹🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻

  11. Pastor Rev. Stanley was a great teacher of the Gospel of Jesus and our Father. God. I became a believer, a true believer, in listening to Pastor Stanley. His dedication to Father God helped me and continues to help me in the recent death of my husband and in the continuation of my life. He now gets the reward of actually meeting the Father of all Creation. Enjoy your reward in Heaven.

  12. Remarkable legacy. Truly one of the blessed divine. He set a standard and line to tow and follow. In his memory, in honor to his teachings, I set my course, and pray God’s breathern continues on a righteous path as the path Dr Stanley has drawn is before us all, glistening, welcoming, waiting for all blessed in divinity of true belief and love for all of God’s children. God’s breathern. This path is easy to follow and see as Dr Stanley and others before him have attempted to reveal. Time is not on anyone’s side in this endeavor to commit and follow God’s teachings, holy, forgiving, and loving as a gentle breeze, peaceful as a mother’s touch. I will not miss Dr Stanley as I follow by his legacy his guidance down that holy path. I pray his teachings are not in vain and challenge others to follow the path of spiritual divinity, to abandon Man’s misgivings, harsh, unjust, and unjustified curses on God’s Breathern, to open up to God’s divinity, to know the real blessing, an promise to the immortal soul. You are at a crossroads when you knowingly ignore the hate, the vigilantee prosecution of strangers in the communities, the beckoning of mankind today to request participation in immoral and unethical sin against another. Do not abandon the teachings of our just God and divine instructions from such as Dr Stanley and those before him. I pray all awaken to join the true and only God in the next spiritual age of immortality. In Yeshua Jesus Christ) loving name, Amen.

As it says in God’s word Psalms‬ ‭116‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.” Truly my heart is touched, I loved to listen to pastor Charles Stanley’s teachings, truly, he will be missed. Dr. Charles Stanley ministered to me and helped to strengthen my walk in Christ. Dr. Stanley walked in the image of Jesus, we seen another shadow of Jesus Christ on the Earth, and he taught salvation to many through his sermons books, tapes, etc. his legacy will live on.

    To all his family he leave behind, I know He was one of the shadows of Jesus and the word says below!

    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬, “to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” Amen
