Christine Caine Daily Devotional – June 01, 2026

If your heart feels a little tired today—tired of believing, tired of waiting, tired of pushing through battles no one else sees—this is for you. God has not overlooked you, forgotten your prayers, or lost track of your tears. Right now, in this exact moment, He is leaning toward you with love, strength, and fresh mercy. Today’s devotional is an invitation to exhale the fear, the pressure, and the disappointment, and inhale the steady hope of Jesus. You are not walking this Monday alone. The same God who called Moses, strengthened Esther, and sustained Paul is writing your story, too. Let’s lean in together and allow Him to speak courage, clarity, and calm over every part of your life.

Anchored by a Promise

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23, NIV) This verse is a lifeline on the days when your emotions are all over the place. Notice the Scripture doesn’t tell us to cling to our feelings; it tells us to cling to our hope—because our hope is tied to God’s character, not our circumstances. To “hold unswervingly” means to refuse to let go, even when the wind is strong and the waves are loud. God’s faithfulness is not seasonal. He doesn’t show up only when things look promising. He is faithful in your uncertainty, faithful in your waiting, faithful in the middle of the mess. When you choose to keep trusting Him, even with trembling hands, you are standing on the unshakable ground of His promises.

When the Waiting Feels Long

Maybe you’re waiting for a breakthrough in your marriage, a prodigal child to come home, a diagnosis to change, or a door to open that has stayed stubbornly shut. Waiting can feel like wasted time, but in God’s hands, waiting is often sacred training. He uses these in–between seasons to deepen your roots, refine your character, and clarify your calling. Instead of asking only, “How long, Lord?” try also asking, “What are You forming in me while I wait?” Today, choose one small step of faith: send that encouraging text, forgive that offense, make that doctor appointment, update that résumé, open your Bible before you open your phone. As you move in obedience, trust that God is moving in the unseen, arranging what you cannot yet see. He is never late, and He never wastes a single moment of your story.

Prayer for Faith to Rise Again

Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my faith to You—shaky, imperfect, but real. Where I have grown weary, breathe new life. Where disappointment has settled in my heart, wash it away with fresh hope. Remind me that my faith does not rest on my performance, but on Your unchanging character. Heal the places where I have stopped believing for more because of past hurts or unanswered prayers. Teach me to trust Your timing and Your wisdom. Increase my hunger for Your Word and Your presence so my faith is anchored in truth, not in headlines or emotions. Strengthen my spiritual muscles so I can stand firm in trials, love boldly, forgive quickly, and obey You fully. Let my life today reflect a quiet, steady confidence that my God is able, my God is near, and my God is good.

Covering Our Homes in Peace

Lord, I lift my family and every relationship connected to my life. Step into our homes, our conversations, and our memories. Where there is tension, bring Your peace. Where there is distance, rebuild connection. Heal broken trust between spouses, parents and children, siblings, and friends. Surround our households with Your presence so that our homes become places of safety and refuge, not stress and fear. Give us grace to listen well, to speak kindly, and to apologize quickly. Protect our marriages from distraction and division. For every prodigal, I ask that Your love would gently pull them back to You. Let forgiveness disarm bitterness, and let Your joy return to our tables, car rides, and late–night talks. Make our families living testimonies of Your redeeming power.

Strength for Body, Mind, and Soul

Jesus, You are the Healer, and I bring my health before You. For every ache, diagnosis, or unknown symptom, I ask for Your touch. Strengthen my immune system, renew my energy, and align every part of my body with Your design
