Messiah tells the story of the rich man partying in his mansion, and poor Lazarus on his doorstep. The rich man who doesn’t help, ends up being judged. We listen to this and think we’re Lazarus the righteous man, but we’re not. In this world, we’re the rich man and the rest of the world is Lazarus. They’re right there outside our doorstep starving to death. We’re feasting and Lazarus is shivering in the cold. We’re praising the Lord, and that’s good. But Lazarus is outside perishing without the Gospel. Messiah said,”When you do it to the least of these, you do it to me.” So essentially it’s Messiah who’s cold, hungry, naked, and perishing. There are orphans, lepers, the starving, the persecuted, the oppressed in darkened huts without the Gospel. Messiah is at our doorstep and our door is closed. Open the door. Open the door of your heart, your life, your involvement, your abundance. Give to the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, the stranger because there’s a stranger on your doorstep that needs your help, waiting for your help, and it is Messiah.

The word in the Bible, Greek, the the New Testament.
Greek is for the word, the word in.
Now that the, the the New Testament does an amazing thing that takes Greek letters at one point and uses the Greek letters to form a Hebrew word.
And it’s this, remember this, it says this, we have not received a spirit of fear but of adoption as Children by which we cry out.
Now.
Now the then the Greek could have said we call our father, but it makes, it takes it very specifically that it’s gonna reproduce the Hebrew baby word.
It’s saying something God has chosen to take as his name.
The first words that come out of the mouths of babies, including the first words that came out of your mouth.
When you first spoke, when you first expressed your heart to the world, when you first cried out, he says, I’m gonna take that as my name.
Why? What does that tell you God is the answer to every need you ever had and ever will have.
It tells you that faith is not really, it’s not something complicated.
It’s very simple, it’s deep, but it’s as simple as a baby, your relationship with God, as simple as a baby.
Simple most basic thing yours, your need for God. As much as you need it. As a baby.
You needed a mother and a father. You need Him more than you need anything else.
And before any you need anything and after everything is gone, it’s gonna be you and Him.
It’s the deepest part of your need. Everything is the deepest part of your soul.
Everything you cried out for you cried out for purpose. You cried out. That’s God. That’s your father.
You cried out for love. That’s when you need it. That’s Him. You cried out for acceptance. You were rejected.
That’s him. You’re crying out for your, for your father. And it’s not a theological cry.
It’s not a religious cry. It’s a cry for your father, for the one who gave you life for the one who is the answer to your life.
The one who protects you. The one who keeps you, who holds you, who, who has sustained every breath you’ve ever, you’ve ever breathed, who holds you?
It’s the cry of for a perfect love with no condition, not like the, the, the love of man, the love of the one who loves you as no one else because he’s your father more than anyone is.
And it’s not just that he actually named himself after the, the words, the, the speaking of a baby.
It’s because it’s not just that general.
It’s to be, it’s because he named himself after your particular first words.
You because it’s your first, it’s you saying those things. He says that’s my name now.
And he’ll always mean, I’m gonna have it forever. He’s always gonna have it.
He’s always gonna be there and he’ll never leave you and listen to this.
He said through the prophet Isaiah, he says to you now, I have carried you from birth, from your conception.
Even to your old age. I will be the same. Even to your graying years. I will carry you.
Why? Because he’s your father rejoice as just as you are rejoiced over. Yeah.
As a, as a, as a beloved child for your heart cries out papa daddy.
That’s what it’s about. That’s what it’s about. You.
Cry out daddy and his car, his heart cries out my child whom I love my baby, my baby.
That’s what it’s about. You have an issue with God. It’s not of the God God. It’s daddy, dad.
I want you to do something. We’re doing it different. I want you to stand up right now.
I want you to stand up. We’re not gonna close the regular way. I’m just let you do this.
I want you to do what you did when you were a little little child and you wanted it to be lifted up, lift up your hands, lift up your hands to your, to your father, to your Daddy.
